I have the OEM & aftermarket batteries and chargers. What I've learned is the OEM charger with an OEM battery will fully charge 100% and you get a very long run time. If you use an aftermarket charger, you may or may not get full charge. I can't get a full charge at all with the off-brand charger. The same goes with an aftermarket battery. If your livelihood depends on getting the shot, get the factory (OEM) charger & battery. 5 |

Charging the camera directly takes you out of the action for far too long. Admittedly, I have zero experience with aftermarket chargers for the Sony battery but I do have many other knock-off chargers for other devices. From that experience I can say that there are very, very few chargers with this level of detail and build quality. The unit is super solid. The prongs (in the United States) flip out/fold up for storage/transport/usage which is extremely well executed and thought out. The lights on the bottom clearly communicate the current status. Ensure that you orient the charger so that it is hanging down from the outlet because...reasons. 5 |

Does what it suppose to. It works. It is an Apple product not an aftermarket. I feel safe with Apple...don't have to worry about damaging any components. Also the best price was from B&H. B&H is my go to store for everything. 5 |
