Are All Computer Monitors Vga

Monitors last a lot longer than a computer, but new computers don't have a VGA input ... this works fine with my old monitor, so all in all it's a great deal.

As a graphic design student this computer is amazing. It runs CS5.5 with ease and has enough room to upgrade as the Adobe Suite grows as well. It runs dual monitors with ease. My monitors came with VGA hook-ups and I had the VGA to mini displayport adaptor but the quality was not good so I bought the apple DVI to mini display port adaptor for both monitors and the male DVI to male DVI cord and they look amazing. I guess if I had bought the apple monitors they would have plugged right in but that was not in the budget right now. For graphic designers this computer will do all you could dream of.

Bought mid-grade new monitors for an older office computer. I'll replace the computer next year, but this converter gets the VGA into a format I can use with new monitors that don't offer VGA input.

2/3 of a stop is a good value for my needs. the full stop was too much and 1/3 not enough at all.

We use these for older second monitors that have a VGA interface.  We have several in use and have had no problems with any.  Our oldest has been in service for at least two to three years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had one Belkin HDMI to VGA adapter that was working great, and I decided to purchase a second one. These adapters are great for connecting older VGA only monitors with newer computers that only have HDMI ports. These adapters works great right out of the box. They have extended the life to my old VGA monitors, allowing me to add an extra monitor to my laptop and desktop that have no VGA ports.

We have several monitors that do not have display port capabilities (VGA and DVI-D only) and are currently upgrading laptops/docking stations for our internal staff. The new docks only have two display ports and one VGA port. So to save on both buying new monitors and all the work of running cables, these converters are life savers. Good build and design.
