Are Curved Monitors Good For Editing

This was one of my first curved monitors and still is one of my favorites. It's really good for a PC or a PS5 because the PS5 has a 120hz mode in some games, mainly FPS games. The colors are good, and the game plus is awesome! Game plus lets you do anything from keep an eye on your frames per second to putting a crosshair on your screen. I haven't noticed anything negative with it being curved, or any eye strain. It doesn't seem to have much glare, and you can view at multiple angles without problems. I mounted it to some hydraulic stands so, they are light enough for that and to move around. They are durable, for a monitor. I feel like the curved helps with bigger monitors. I haven't quite figured out the HDR but that's with any of my monitors. HDR seems to be more of a marketing thing. Unless you are planning on spending a ton of money on a monitor, don't worry about HDR. The one I bought was a 32 in, but it might be a little too big for what I'm using it for. I don't regret getting this monitor. I recommended ASUS curved monitors to some coworkers and they like them as well. You can't go wrong with this monitor. I have bought at lot of ASUS. Most of my PC is ASUS. I like their stuff. The TUF series cost to performance is tough to beat and the ROG stuff is really nice when you want it all! I'm not sure about customer service yet. I haven't had any issues with my monitors. They are currently in the process of repair a graphics card under warranty and so far, it hasn't been a bad experience.

I've been looking for a good pair of desktop monitors for a while now. My primary use is video editing with Premiere Pro. I also use them for listening to the audio from an SDR (Software Defined Radio) and general purpose use ie: streaming video. These fit my needs perfectly. The are the perfect size for my limited desk space. Best of all the sound quality is awesome! They totally blow away the built in speakers in my laptop. The detail is amazing compared to what I was used to. I have no need for a sub with my setup.

I use a laptop, docking station, and two monitors. The Dell UltraSharp 31.5 is a good monitor for editing photos. The display has sharp images on a large screen.

I bought this to replace an NEC 31 photo editing monitor that developed a red line down the center. This monitor is amazingly bright. It is sharper than the NEC LCD it replaced. Brightness and color uniformity seem very good. It was easy to install because it weighs nothing. I mounted it to a Ergotron LX monitor arm rather than use the included stand. The monitor comes with lots of cables. I like the way the cables come out of one place in the back. One thing that tickled me was the one-button user interface. It is hidden on the underside of the bezel by the LG Logo. Clever that the logo shows you where to push. You push to turn the monitor off and on. But there's more. This button is also a joystick for navigating the menus. This monitor has, by far, the easiest menu system I've ever used. I'm pretty old and have used dozens and dozens of monitors at work and at home over the years. This user interface takes the cake. You'll love it. That said, most people don't adjust their monitors very often so you may only use it a few times a year. But still. It will make you smile. The bezel is pretty thin on the sides which I like because I have two Kali studio monitors on each side of the monitor and want them close enough to the monitor for good stereo imaging when editing music. My only complaint so far is the short cable from the power supply to the monitor. Most monitors have AC in but this LG has a brick supply like a laptop computer. The small power cable coming out of the monitor is easy to snake through the cable channel in the Ergotron monitor stand. But it isn't long enough for the power supply to rest on the floor. I added a bracket on the back of my desk to hold the power supply and all is good now. If the cable had been a foot or two longer I wouldn't have had to do this. I like the thin HDMI cable that came with the monitor. It's a lot easier to connect to my laptop than the thick HDMI cable I had been using.

I got this primarily to drive my studio monitors on a video editing setup, the quality is good, and the interface is easy enough to dial in your settings

I bought the HP docking station so that I could connect a company laptop to two 4K curved monitors and a keyboard and mouse plugged into an 4K KVM switch box and it works perfectly.

I bought both the monitors because I like dual, from 22" old 2008 upgrade to 24" curved and the price is right. I'm currently using it and love it. It's very easy to set up and wide to work with multi-task on computer. It's PERFECT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it.
