Are Dynamic Microphones Good For Podcasting

A very good package using still one of the best dynamic microphones in the Shure SM57 after almost 50 years.

Many years ago I bought the one for dynamic microphones and it has always served me well. Now I bought this one for condenser microphones and so fa it has been just as good. I love it!!!

I was completely impressed by the dynamic range and intelligibility of this microphone. It is not just good but it blows away other microphones in this category. Worked perfectly out of the box for my podcasting/streaming setup. It's more than enough for my little dynamic mic, and it's solid enough to handle quite a bit more weight as well.

fantastic sound... the BEST dynamic microphones, high sensitivity, beatiful & gorgeous sound! He ignored the surrounding noise! Definitely definitely the best dynamic microphone in the world!!!!

I bought this as an ENG mic so I wouldn't have to have so much hiss from turning up the gain on an SM-58 I had. It produces a bigger sound, but with a similar dryness (which I actually prefer). It compared well to mics like the Beyerdynamic M58, but sounded less bright or metallic with my voice. Like lots of Shure dynamic microphones, it seems pretty indestructable (I haven't pitched it down a flight of stairs just yet, though.) Solidly built, clean sound, and bigger output than most dynamic microphones. I'd buy a second one without hesitation.

I sold my old zoom and old dynamic microphones for this baby and it worth it, the sound is incredible! Now my podcast looks Pro!

The FETHEADS (2) I purchased through B&H Photo and Video were for my dynamic microphones which require Phantom Power to operate. Customer Service helped me out with that fact, but what I wished Triton should have done is included written instructions on the operational side.  I am happy with the quality.

I have used these microphones to make recordings of explosive noise and they don't ring when signal exceeds dynamic range. There great and continue to work fine.

This is a console for streaming very sencible, the manufacturer has not recommended which microphones to use, however I have tried two dynamic microphones and are not recommended. It works very well with professional cardioid microphones. US-42 has what it takes to broadcast an interview or a special program from anywhere. It is a good acquisition.
