I'm using this mic for Indy features... It's great because it's good for both indoors and out... Also seems to be able to get rid of annoying noises better than most mics.

I mount my dslr on this rig and leave it. So far I have shot 2 indy features as dp with this system and after a little practice you can use it as a very serviceable steady cam. Pulling focus is a breeze, smooth and accurate. And priced right!!

I am a college student with a very limited budget. I recommend this to any indy filmmaker/those starting out. This is a great cine lens. Great built, very smooth aperture ring and focus ring! I would not hesitate to buy another cine lens from Rokinon. Best bang for your buck!

Ok first I wanted to keep my new wireless follow focus secret, hoping I’d have an advantage over the rest of the Indy film makers, but then I decided, everyone needs to hear about this thing! This product is a quantum leap over the Indy competition, I’d say Tilta has their sights set on producing gear for the pro market. The nucleus m handset is elegant with is warm wood touches (though I expect this to be it’s weak point), it’s menu’s are easy to navigate, and the set up is easy with the clearly written manual, I can be a little tech phobic, but had no trouble getting it running within 15 min of unboxing. So far the motor has plenty of torque for my old Nikon lenses, and did I mention it comes with a second motor? Right?! Set up for a zoom and focus pull, or a focus pull and iris adjustment, oh and did I mention that it comes with a set of ergonomic handgrips that incorporate all the same controls as the handset. Attached to a shoulder rig, the handles give you a right thumb rocker control, and left and right finger wheel controls options, which you can assign to operate individual motors, making customizing your setup easy and intuitive. With simple lens calibration, control of knob travel ,knob direction, motor torque, signal strength, push button stops, and more, I feel sorry for everyone out there shooting without it, oh but now that I’ve opened my big mouth, I expect I’ll soon see Tilta Nucleus M’s gracing Indy film cameras everywhere (watch out Preston)

If you are an indy film person you will eventually need one of these or something similar. I didn't get the point at first until I was brainstorming a film project and realized how much I could change the mood with this. No regret at all as I now get why and what it's used for.
