Are Kitchen Appliances In Short Supply

The power supply to my house has been notoriously unreliable lately, and I have lost some appliances to surges and frequent blips. I was worried that my computer was vulnerable, and although I save my work frequently I've suffered some losses due to power outages. The CyberPower CP1000 allowed me time to continue working, then save my work and perform a controlled shutdown during a recent outage. I can recommend it heartily.

I got this more as an emergency backup battery than as a UPS for my computer. I have some critical appliances that require a short by heavy load and can't really have them down for one or two days if the power goes out. I'm reasonably sure this UPS will keep them running on minimal usage during a short power outage. Either that or I can run my internet gateway for several hours. Either way, it's some peace of mind.

It's always good to have an extra charger on hand especially when they were in such short supply.

We do a lot of outdoor weddings, where level ground is in short supply - these are fantastic for keeping our speakers looking nice without worrying they'll fall over. The extension on the top for the smaller speaker mounting holes was great and they're tall enough without the lift, but we could use these as lighting stands too if the need arose. I was using a DSLR through a HDMI interface during the pandemic because the Logitech BRIO Ultra was in short supply. I was worried about making the switch since my Nikon D850 had superior video quality, but I must say I'm very pleased with the BRIO Ultra! Even the sound is good and setting it up was very easy.
