Are Membrane Keyboards Good For Gaming

Was a bit skeptical about a wireless kb for gaming, but so far this is probably one of the best keyboards I've ever owned and I've owned a lot. Might even try out a mouse from Asus now. 5 |

Excellent battery life and great value for money. Great for gaming controllers, wireless keyboards, and such. 5 |

Great headset from recently one of my favorite technology websites. Can find all of my gaming peripherals like Logitech keyboards and mice and everything I imagine. Headset is clear and very strong. Thinking of buying a professional microphone soon and maybe going above and beyond traditional gaming headsets 5 |

I have always preferred mechanical keyboards, but did not require the multiple options and flashy LEDs of gaming keyboards. The Das Keyboard is another example (like be quiet cases) of superlative engineering. I spend hours composing complicated clinical reports. I love the feel of this this keyboard, which has increased the speed and accuracy of my typing three-fold. Recommended without reservation. 5 |

Not the slim body of the recent Logic edit keyboards but in a good way 5 |

I purchased this keyboard for use with my Mac. The build quality is excellent and the key response is excellent. My typing speed has improved dramatically compared to typing on a membrane keyboard. The media controls on the keyboard are a welcomed addition and the volume knob has a high quality click feel to it. The brown switches are also quieter than the blue switches. It's louder than a membrane or scissor keyboard but not as loud as other mechanical keyboard. 5 |

First keyboard Ive purchased in a couple years without a membrane, however its one of the best ive used. I like that i can detach the keypad when its not needed, however i wish the keypad itself was wireless and didnt require attachment to the keyboard to use. I also had to purchase from a 3rd party to aquire said keyboard as it was not listed on the US asus store for me. 10/10. Love this thing 5 |

After rotating through a handful of membrane boards, I bought this keyboard for work and am absolutely loving it. I had never used a mechanical keyboard before but found that this board is an absolute pleasure to type on. The keys (mx brown) have a great feel and are not so loud that they drive my office-mate crazy with all the clicking. Highly recommend! 5 |

The great and unique property of the Sanken COS-11D is that because its membrane is much bigger than the one of other lapel mics, it captures the bass. On national TV, people with a low voice all use the Sanken. It is eerie how close this mic comes to a very good stage mic. With even fewer problems, no plosives, no s-eses. If you have a heavy breathing, attach it with the head down. I have the best Sennheiser lapel mic, the MKE2, but the Sanken gets a much richer sound. It works with any pack with phantom power for which the connector fits, or using a Rode VXLR+ adapter directly into a preamp or mixer. 5 |

I needed a keyboard to replace the membrane one at work. Feels better to type on, and I like the lighting in a dark office. I don't care for RGB, though the built in patterns lack contrast between low brightness and high brightness. The few knocks are the irreplaceable switches and built in cable. 5 |
