Are Mirrorless Cameras Good For Sports Photography

I ha e been hesitant to purchase a mirrorless, but the fact that this is the future and the fact that I could use my current Canon Lenses, it was a total win. Though I have only fired a few hundred pictures I am doing it photographing high school football which will challenge even my 1DX. The frame rate is not as fast as the 1DX but the operation in low light is far superior! Although I love the touch screen , for sports photography it is a nuisance as my nose hits the display and changes the focus area. Not a good thing. I will be disabling that for sports. I have yet to test the video out as I mostly do still photography. The feel of this camera compared to my 1DX is an absolutely amazing difference. It’s lightweight but has an incredible feel with the mirrorless

Some of the smaller mirrorless cameras are great - but sometimes you just need an SLR. I do both still photography and video.

I'm glad someone still sell 620 film. I have several old box camera that I use for sports photography. This film loads well and the cameras function as they should. It's Tmax, how can you go wrong?

The d500 camera is for sports photography, so adding the protector was just common sense. Cameras like this are treated rough and banged around. Besides the camo cover make it look awesome.

This thing is so versatile! I use it all the time for both video and photography. I wasn't sure if the 1k capacity would work well for my Canon M50 mirrorless (Joby's description says it works for "most" mirrorless cameras), but it has been perfect! I've used cheap flexible tripods before with other cameras, and have never been happy. This one is SO MUCH BETTER than anything else out there. Even with the lens adapter and using larger diameter EF lenses, it still handles the weight. The ball head is smooth and easy to operate. You know when it's tight and can have confidence in it staying put. The legs grip well, even on a slippery metal tube rail (see pic) with jagged rocks and water lurking below. Sometimes when I'm shooting run-and-gun video, I keep the GorillaPod attached with the legs angled back against my chest, and the camera strapped around my neck, and it creates decent stabilization for smooth video. I look like a nerd, but we do whatever it takes to get the shot.

This messenger bag is a cool bag for a daily street photography shoot. It can fit mirrorless cameras good with a few lenses same with dslr cameras with a grip. It can even hold a pentax 67ii. Good camera bag.

I have used this flash on my Nikon DLSR's and mirrorless cameras. Basically, I use this unit whenever I don't want to carry my Nikon SB-5000's or my SB-700's. Great flash for general photography and event photography. This was a great purchase.
