Are Monitors Specific To Computers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few computers and laptops, each for a specific role. One for work, another for play and a third for testing. Subsequently, utilizing multiple monitors is necessary at times. The HP USB-C Dock G5 works nicely with all three computers. Simple plug and play as the saying goes. Switching between monitors with this is a breeze and having 4 High Speed USB ports is nice addition. Overall am quite please with this.

I have two computers to back up and I wanted space to do a system image and a backup of specific files. That way I could restore the whole system if the hard drive went bad, or I could just restore a specific file if the file went bad. This hard drive has the space to do that for both of my computers. And the cost is the lowest anywhere. The drive is small and fits perfectly in my safe. Very happy. Thank you.

The KVM was easy to setup and make using dual monitors for two computers quick and helpful.

Monitors last a lot longer than a computer, but new computers don't have a VGA input ... this works fine with my old monitor, so all in all it's a great deal.

I bought 2 of these monitors for a very specific reason; to flank a 32 inch display. Even with a large screen in the middle, the extra workspace to move things back and forth is nice. I running a mac mini m2 pro, and it works perfectly. No, its not USBC but I dont need it to be. The colors are almost a perfect match to the 32 inch lg 950. Very bright and the QHD is much better than HD for text. Highly recommended!!!!!

Camera is perfect adaption for computers or monitors without a camera and has a slightly wider aperture than desired, but the visual quality is good. Microphone does a good job of picking up the user's voice and filtering ambient noise.

I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me.
