Are Onestep Cameras Suitable For Professional Use

With the demise of film in most new cameras, finding suitable products for professional work is becoming harder. Only the best can survive in such a market and Kodak Porta 160 for 4x5 is still available due to its superior properties. It must be the best film currently available for 4x5 colour photography. Rich beautiful skin tones unmatched by any digital counterpart. On the downside, it's becoming hard to find 50 packs making the less economical 10 pack the only option. Let's hope this film is available for years to come!

There are many 3.5 mm A/B switchers out there, most of them are junk. This one is a solid product that is suitable for professional use. I am using it to toggle between two audio workstations used in iTunes master preparation. Solidly built, good feel to the switch and the off position in the center is very convenient for muting either machine without having to go the mouse. When you peel the large label off of it (which comes off very easily) it looks professional too.

This is a glossy paper suitable for use with my now discontinued HP Photosmart B9800 professional printer. While I wish that HP had not discontinued the semi-gloss and matte versions of this paper, it remains a useful product and is competitive with other brands for us with printers like mine.

After having a Polaroid Onestep 600, I decided to try a different brand, as the 600 type film was coming out on both extremes for me, either too washed out or super dark. The Instax is so good, it almost feels like I'm cheating. Everything comes out basically as good as you'd expect, yet still feels retro, love it!
