Rock solid and very strong. I do a lot of macro work professionally and needed a new studio tripod. This one is great because at its normal height it is perfect for my table top and I can adjust the legs outward if I need to lower the platform. The total height is something I don't think I will ever need but it is there if you are willing to carry this thing around. I am using it with an 058 ball head which is also very strong and matches well with this tripod. Those who have to shoot outdoors and need a solid platform for either DSLR or Video should consider this product. The automatic leg extender switches will get some getting used to but should't take you long to figure it out. It is a neat feature althoug maybe not as practicle as I thought it would be. Anyway it is there and works well. 5 |

I have a repurposed enlarging table from the film era. I am going to use it as a rock solid platform for a light tent for my product photography. Being able to dim the lights is a major plus as all four bulbs at full power may be more light than I need. 5 |

I can spend more but it isn't going yo make me a better singer. I needed a mic for back-up vocal in my rock band. I replace a no name mic that was flat in the mix.
