I had been using rice, and the poly beads were about half weight.

Very useful, and they take really good care of you and your machine. its good to have especially since these machines are really expensive and its basically all one part inside, so if one thing goes bad the whole part needs to be replaced.

I use Rosco fog fluid in a Rosco 1700 fog machine to create beam effects with a laser projector. The clear fog fluid performs exactly as the original (green) fog fluid without the scent of the original. I switch between the two when I want scent or no scent on a particular night.

I love how easy it is to use this thing. I previously used the beads that must be renewed by heating them in an oven... which was a pain. This just plugs into an outlet and renews in ~6 hours. I throw it in my moisture sealed DeWalt toolbox to keep my camera accessories dry. My camera and lenses are in a Ruggard dry cabinet.
