Are Solar Eclipse Glasses Sold On Amazon Safe

There were almost no solar eclipse glasses available elsewhere. These were sold at a fair price and arrived the next day.

Certified safe solar eclipse glasses. Comfortable and look good. Very dark and no imperfections noted. Packaged well and arrived quickly. No gaps noted when worn in bright sunlight.

We had researched solar eclipse glasses that were recommended as safe by the various astronomical associations and these LUNT glasses had the seal of approval. They were used by 6 kids and 4 adults and are sturdy enough to save for the next big solar occasion! As with everything we've purchased from B&H the glasses arrived quickly and were exactly as described.

Glasses worked great; kept my eyes safe during the solar eclipse. Excellent build quality. Completely blocks all light except when looking at the sun; be careful to not trip and fall when wearing these glasses.

This booklet offers a great analysis of the solar eclipse with diagrams, along with two pairs of glasses for safe observation. The science and basic information is helpful, and a map of the paths and charts with location, dates, and times makes planning so easy. All that's missing is a weather forecast-have to wait till just before it happens on that one!

03/19/2024 I bought my Eclipse HD Solar Glasses to watch the upcoming solar eclipse in Erie, PA. on April 8th. They look like good quality and well made glasses but haven't had a chance to use them yet.

I waited until the last minute to get Solar Eclipse Solar glasses, the evening before the solar eclipse, and by that time supplies were limited all over town. Then, I remembered that B&H would probably have excellent glasses available. I was right. I arrived at the store about an hour before closing time. The line was around the block -- everyone seemed to have the same idea as me! -- but it moved quickly and soon I was on my home. The next day, as the eclipse occurred, my partner and I had the best seats in the house, on one of the piers along the Hudson River, and we safely viewed and enjoyed the cosmic spectacle. Thank you, B&H, for coming to the rescue, and keeping our eyes safe!
