These glasses did a perfect job of bringing the eclipse into view! Seeing the eclipse was perfect. Although we only got a partial eclipse, it was something I did not want to miss. I saw the full eclipse in 2017 and this partial one will be the last one I'll see in my lifetime. 5 |

These plastic glasses are perfect for a solar eclipse. They are very sturdy. Good for sharing and taking them off and on. For most locations, the partial eclipse phase will last between 70 and 80 minutes. To prevent permanent eye damage you must wear your eclipse glasses when viewing the Sun during the partial eclipse phase. Well worth the money. 5 |

I bought these solar binoculars to view the partial phases of the recent eclipse. They are comfortable and easy to focus. The magnification was welcome after viewing through eclipse glasses. With them I could easily view a few sunspots prior to the eclipse. Yes, it can be tripod mounted. (Although I did not need to for the eclipse due to the sun's position.) The front button screws off so you can attach a threaded tripod adapter. The only suggestion I would give to the manufacturer is to make the outside casing a bright color to distinguish it from normal binoculars. I received several questions on eclipse day from onlookers who didn't realize they were solar binoculars. I may mark mine with duct tape or paint for future use in groups. 5 |
