Are Startech Displayport Cables Good

There are probably other USB-C to DisplayPort cables that will work fine with Eizo monitors but, as far as I know, StarTech's is the only one that Eizo has tested and approved. I use mine to connect a CG2420 to a MacBook Pro. It works perfectly.

IMHO StarTech makes good USB cables that are flexible and reliable for a decent price. I needed an angle cable because the device in use did not have enough room behind it. This cable was perfect for the job. It is not my first cable from StarTech and will continue to buy only this brand.

I got burned with a Cable from Fry's that does not support 4K. The StarTech cables work as a charm.

My two SW272U's and the BenQ support folks in one word ... AWESOME!!! First off, I've have never seen a company packed the way BenQ does, it's the coolest packing my wife and I have ever seen. Extremely well thought out ... KUDO's to BenQ. The monitors themselves took minutes to setup and the picture on both are beautiful. We also had B&H send out a x-rite Display Plus HL and a pair of OWC Thunderbolt 4 ... 2.0 meter long. The TB4 are DisplayPort Alt Mode capable. The cables that came with the monitors are USB Type C and for our layout, they were a little short, the 2.0 meters was perfect and Palette Master Ultimate found both monitors using these 4TB, I mention this because not all cables are DisplayPort Alt Mode capable. If you are going to connect this to any Apple and need extra cable feet, this is the way to go. The stand that the monitors come with are built really well and the monitors keep perfectly level on them, not top heavy, really easy to move side to side, up and down, 90 degree. Now here's the part that cracks me up, the wife now once me order a Canon Photo printer from B&H so she start printing out and framing photos she likes and that's kinda of why we got these monitors ... for their true screen to print representation, and when we do that, I review that as well

I have owned many, many Startech HDMI cables over the years and this one does not disappoint. The cable is excellent. I found the plastic shielding to be very flexible to cable manipulation was great. The connectors ends are solid and I don't see any issue with cable separation or bending at these points. I used this cable with my Samsung bluray and Smart tv and the picture was excellent with no distortion. A great cable at an affordable price. I've been using these hot swap drive bays for many years, we've sold hundreds of them with all the PC's we build. They have gotten better as time went by, but the best improvement was made recently. Startech added clip retainer slots for the SATA cables. Now when we connect the SATA cables the clips "click" and stay securely in place. Before this improvement we had to perform a number of techniques to hold the cables in place. This was always the weak link in our systems. Way to go Startech, you are definitely listening and improving your products!

I have several of these StarTech 3.5mm cables in different lengths. I like that the cable stock is very lightweight, thin, and flexible...perfect for connecting onboard microphones or wireless receivers to a small video camera or DSLR rig (such as mounted on the hot shoe), where bulky/stiff cables are a nuisance.

StarTech's USB 2.0 cables have been the best I have purchased. They are more reliable and stay reliable far lo ger than any other brand I have used.
