Are Steelseries Headsets Good For Audiophiles

to start, I've never cared one way or another about the mic on my headsets so I don't really have any input on it besides everybody in my groups says my voice is very clear. As far as the rest of the headset goes, 10/10 as far as I'm concerned. For a bit of background, I have previously or currently own Bose QC 35 ll, Sony WH1000XM3, Steelseries Arctis 7, and Logitech G933. I find the G Pro X to be much more more comfortable than both the Steelseries and G933 and almost as comfortable as the non gaming headsets I listed. I have worn them for 6 hours at a time though and feel no discomfort which is amazing. They personally fit me very well (6'1 with an average head/ear size) and the leather ear cups have never gotten too warm. The fact that you can plug them in via aux or usb-A is also very nice since some computers can be finicky. The in-line mic is also an amazing convenience that you rarely see. I normally use the dial on my keyboard. Lastly, I can't not say enough not only how well this headset sounds but how amazing the surround sound is! I thought the G933 and Arctis 7 were good but MY GOD is the surround sound crisp. I play a handful of games but I play Destiny 2 on the daily when I can and gunshots from the enemy have never been so clear to my ears. I truly believe it is helping me whip around to the correct position of the enemies faster and more accurately. Although looks are up to personal opinion, I love the all black with a bit of silver/metal look. It gives it a very professional feel and the entire headset also has a very sturdy feel to it. After using these for two weeks now, I would have happily spent $200 $250. Hope this helps:)

seamless integration, a must for audiophiles!

Good price and seemingly good quality. Sure, the sound quality isn't for the audiophiles, but bone conduction headphones are amazing for running and working in my office. Love that it connects to my phone and computer without having to disconnect from the other. Quirks: beeps at every volume adjustment and beeps if you walk out of range until you power cycle it.

5/5. Haven't overclocked yet but so far so good on stock settings. HD audio out is only through the HIVE, which may be an issue for audiophiles but I push my audio through the HDMI connection.

Amazing. Audiophiles will love this. Great highs/mids and surprisingly good lows. We purchased this so we could sync it with our front room receiver. Now we can enjoy music throughout the house. Very easy to connect.

I bought this for my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL. It fits quite well despite being designed for the Roccat Vulcan TKL.

This completes my pair for my sound system. The best out there for the price. Audiophiles will not be disappointed.

Obviously not for audiophiles, but just a decent pair of headphones for a fair price.

We have tried several different headsets without breaking the bank these are the best we have found.
