2/3 of a stop is a good value for my needs. the full stop was too much and 1/3 not enough at all. 5 |

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase. 5 |

Works great to share one VGA Display with two computers, also can share a keyboard and mouse with the two computers. 5 |

I liked the Satechi Slim X1 that I bought two from B&H for our Mac mini computers. I think it's a classy looking keyboard with a positive feel when you press a key. Strong bluetooth and long-lasting battery. 5 |

I purchased this MStand for use with a 13 Macbook Pro. The stand is very sturdy and actually helps minimize the risk of spilled coffee on keyboard. As to the 'angle' of the screen; I have an XGEAR shadow cover (which limits opening a bit) and I am 6', The screen is about perfect. I can see under circumstances of taller people may wish a greater angle. It is possible to slightly bend the MStand (hard, but can be done). I can see no reason of those under 6' having a problem about screen angle. It will also be without saying that you should rely on a mouse and additional keyboard as the raised level of computer makes it ergonomically unfeasible to use tracpad and computer keyboard. Please bear in mind, I believe the stand size is larger for 15 and 17 computers. Therefore, reviews will be applicable for the size of computer. My stand is perfect for 11 and 13 computers. 5 |

Switches computers fairly fast, including auxiliary USB. No obvious snags. I use a Macintosh keyboard and everything works as expected except the eject key, which is not important to me. Switching among Mac, Windows and Linux without a hitch. Solidly built and heavy. Both front and rear aux USB, which is nice. Also, if you turn off or suspend a computer it will automatically seek out the next one that's running (or do nothing if that was the last one closed). Can configure and operate from a wired Mac keyboard also (I don't have any Bluetooth and there are warnings regarding that approach). I was, however, not able to get it to work with VGA using any of the adapters I have. Don't count on mixing VGA and DVI therefore. 5 |
