Are Whole Home Surge Protectors Worth It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System is better than advertised. The setup was very easy. My entire home (3200 Sq. feet) is covered from upstairs, downstairs, and backyard deck area with over 900 mbs of download speed consistently. I would recommend this product to everyone who is teleworking regularly, streaming constantly, and with a couple of gamers in the home... Orbi is a must have product. The Bitdefender network security is topnotch too.

Just installed Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh Wifi 6 and it completely solved our connection issues in all areas of our home. We had terrible Wifi service in certain parts of our home prior to purchasing our Orbi.

Our neighbor’s home suffered two massive lightening strikes three years apart. The first strike did $6000 worth of damage to his new SUV. The second strike totaled his brand new Cadillac as well as partially damaging our vehicle and knocking out our garage door opener and a number of low voltage items in our home. The culprit: his permanently mounted basketball pole and backboard which he refused to have removed. Since that second strike all sensitive electronics in my home are connected to an appropriate surge protector. I purchased this surge protector as a second back up unit for a rack of recording components in my home studio. It’s not worth the risk to leave your gear unprotected. Cheap insurance!

Wow...quality, a great price, and actually in stock! This was just what I was looking for. I've been using consumer surge protectors with my DJ set up for years. I've debated upgrading to a more professional grade power supply for some time now, and I finally pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did too. The 15 foot wall plug is just perfect. I no longer have to add an extension cable to the end on my surge, having it all integrated. And the metal casing is solid and made of very durable materials. I just don't know why I didn't make this purchase sooner.
