Are Yeti Microphones Good For Streaming

For its price, the Blue Yeti far surpasses other microphones in its category. This microphone is easy to use and ready to go, simply plug the USB into your computer and start recording! You will be amazed by the quality of this microphone and its ease of use. I absolutely recommend this microphone for those who are looking for fast and easy quality audio recording. This mic is best used for podcasts, youtube videos, and can even be used for budget friendly music recording!

I researched a lot of microphones before settling on the Samson Q2U. The main thing I'm using it for is to speak with people over Discord and Zoom (I built my PC and it does not have a built-in mic). I did also try it on a MacBook Pro and it worked easily. I would have loved a Shure SM7B, but the price is too much to justify its purchase for what I'm needing a mic for. Regardless, I am more than satisfied with the sound quality of the Q2U for the price range. Build quality is beyond what I would expect in this price range. Audio quality is no different. Voice playback is warm and has a good range; not tinny at all, which is the main worry I have with less expensive microphones. I was comparing it mostly with the Blue Yeti and a few Audio Technica's that were around $100, but decided to go with the Q2U instead due to the complaints about Blue Yeti online (despite its popularity), the price of the Q2U, and the fact that the Q2U has both USB and XLR jacks. That feature alone sets this mic apart from most of its competition, including the Yeti. I will probably purchase a quality boom arm so the microphone is not sitting on the desk between the keyboard and myself, but for not this kit works just fine.

I use this mic for streaming video games and I have to say it's a really solid, quality-build microphone. I used to have a Blue Yeti mic, which was massive. This is maybe 2/3 the size of that but doesn't sacrifice quality in that reduction. Very easy to get up and running with USB plug-n-play. The only super-slight issue I have with it is that there is a blue LED light inside the mesh that as far as I can tell, can't be turned off. It can be pretty distracting, especially if you have it on a boom that keeps it nearly eye level.

I use my Yeti for voiceover and singing. I'm not a professional but I'm an enthusiast. I know what sounds good and good is what the Yeti delivers. The 4 options of recording makes capturing sound very convienant. I use mainly the cardioid mode for VoiceOver and singing. The build quality is superb! Some people say the nobs are flimsy but I think Blue fixed it. The yeti I have must be from a new batch because all the nobs are secure and tight. The main body is made out of aluminum and has a nice weight to it. Feels very expensive. The color matches my Apple computers. The downside of the Yeti is that there are no shock mounts available so I put the yeti on top of a thin soft piece of foam to absorb the shock. The bottom line is get the Yeti if you want the conveniece of a USB mic because its the best one out there.

This is a console for streaming very sencible, the manufacturer has not recommended which microphones to use, however I have tried two dynamic microphones and are not recommended. It works very well with professional cardioid microphones. US-42 has what it takes to broadcast an interview or a special program from anywhere. It is a good acquisition.

I’m going to be starting a cooking TikTok & wanted something more professional & clear than just my phone’s microphone when explaining the recipes & steps. This was simple to set up & get started. I’m liking all the features that I’m learning, as well as mostly liking that it’s beginner user friendly & isn’t super confusing if you’re looking to step up your clarity & voice when recording.
