I bought this lens after doing a ton of research. I was not disappointed. I got some great pictures inside mammoth cave and will be trying to capture some night sky pics in the Badlands soon. Keep in mind that it is all manual, but if you are even slightly familiar with how to manually operate your camera, you'll be able to get great low light pictures. 5 |

I travelled to Mammoth Lake and visited the Rainbow falls. Although the it was cloudy, the day was very bright. With my canon 24-70mm attached to 70D mounted on the tripod, I took few shots of the water falls. With the help of the hoya neutral density (NDX8) filter I was able to set shutter speed set at 1/4 sec, with F/7.1 and ISO 100. I am very satisfied with the results ( see attached photo). Please take note that the photo is unedited, the color and brightness and so on is untouched. It came out directly from the camera 5 |
