Arris Cable Set Top Box Ethernet Port

I got rid of my FIOS router and needed something that would give ethernet connectivity to my Set top box for the program guide. I picked this up and it worked beautifully. Simply connected the coax to it and an ethernet connection from my switch. Set top box has connectivity and program guide works. As always, B&H customer service was top notch.

This cable is just what I needed. I was able to free up 2 ethernet ports between my two Ubiquiti switches (one each) and use the SFP ports instead. Installation could not have been more simple - just take out the rubber stopper on the SFP ports and plug in each end of this cable into the down port and up port - DONE. The switches recognized each other is seconds with no configuration on my part.

its got everything I need and the long cable make it easy to place anywhere! I love the ethernet speed and all the USB port for all my devices.. I never knew SD card can be so easy to use for storage. I am loving it

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. The switch replaced an old 8-port switch I was using. The new switch was easy to set up and begin using. Almost too easy. There was only a quick start guide with limited information. I wanted more technical information, but as it turned out I really didn't need more technical information. The switch just works with no special configuration or Ethernet connector placement for LAN connectivity. Good choice if you need lots of Ethernet ports.

This is easy to set up and works great with computers that don't have an ethernet port. The only downside is you HAVE to download a driver in order for it to work on your computer.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.
