Arris Router Flashing Lights
sir savealot | 2024-05-05 08:59:56 |
Router is simple and faster than my previous D-link at 150mbps.I like that I don't have to see all the flashing lights. 5 |

flashing lights indicate charge level roughly. 5 |
Victor Lightworship | 2024-06-09 09:57:30 |
Does its job. I like how the flashing of the lights lets you know where you are in the charge cycle. 5 |

Works great. The flashing lights are an easy way to see how the charge is progressing. 5 |

I was using an Arris (Motorola) modem/router combo. It was constantly disconnecting me from my Comcast internet service. Comcast Tech came to the house, boosted the signal and ran a new coax from the pedestal to my house. Same thing. I bought the AC 1900 over two weeks ago and have had no problems. The speed is much higher than with my Arris and the range is much greater also. Installation was super easy on the Comcast website. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend B&H Photo. Ordering from them was quick and easy, free, fast shipping, and a very fair price. You can’t go wrong with this modem/router or B&H. 5 |

I am using this with my new Arris S33 modem on xfinity's (up to) 1200Mbps service. Xfinity delivers 800 , and I get 400 wifi from the router, throughout my two story 2300sf house. The router is located centrally on the second floor. 5 |

I bought this router to replace my flawed Arris the had the bad Intel Puma6 chipset, and already I’ve seen major improvements to performance with WiFi as well as with gaming. With the Arris I’d have massive ping spikes upwards of 600 , with the Netgear my connection stays stable and smooth. Install and activation was a breeze (xfinity made it difficult). I’m happy with my purchase as of writing this. 5 |

This thing is about as tall as a typical router. It's a third taller the the Arris modem I was using before. The power plug is somewhat large, wish that was a standard size and ran to a brick so the plug would fit better. Other then that, it's been plug and forget, which is exactly what you want from this type of equipment. 5 |

First off, let me say how skeptical I was about what the true performance of this cable modem/router 1 satellite setup would be. The reviews I read just seemed too good to be true. And my townhome has 3 levels throughout which to spread the wifi magic, a challenge for which my Arris Surfboard was just unable to meet. The further I got away from the router, the download speeds would drop drastically, making it difficult for my wife to work in the office and making me wonder why we were paying for all this promised speed. I tried plug-in extenders which improved things somewhat, but the long distances and numbers of walls/doors/stairs and other obstacles to my 5 GHz signal just seemed insurmountable. That is, until I got the Orbi! The cable modem / router is where the Arris lived previously on the first level, and the satellite is on the third level. My download speeds up there are nearly as good as they are next to the router, and better yet, I’m getting slightly in excess of the speed I’m paying for! What a game changer! It’s been stable, no dropped connections, and the app is fantastic. It saved us from having to open walls to run Ethernet around the house. I’m really satisfied, and at least in this instance, I got what I paid for! 5 |

We purchased the Netgear Orbi to replace an Arris cable modem/router because we had low WiFi signal issues in parts of our home. The Orbi was simple to install and we saw a dramatic improvement of WiFi coverage throughout our house with near maximum speeds everywhere. We connected the satellite with a hardwired connection to achieve this throughput. We were also able to assign static IP addresses to some of our network equipment (NAS’s) to allow easy access and alphabetic naming for those devices. The slightly higher price tag is justified by the performance and advanced configuration options. Great performance! 5 |
