Ars Recording Studio Engineer

Husband has worked as a singer-songwriter and studio engineer, and has been looking hard for two years for a portable mike to take on the road, or just for capturing early bits of songs wherever he likes. This great little device from Zoom looked like it might finally fit his standards/expectations. It has not disappointed!! It is very clear, and very detailed in its recording. Download the app and test it out; on raw recording in the living room, it beat garageband hands down. This device hasn't made it into the studio yet, but record/playback on iPhone 6+ was sharp and nuanced. Stays on while plugged into iOS device, so disconnect to save device battery. Husband is SUPER happy with it.

As a recording studio owner and engineer, I needed producers to be able to hear clear audio over long distance telephone land lines. I can now have voice over talent come in to record and the producer can be anywhere in the world. For $...it was well worth the investment. It will pay for itself in one voice over session!

I was a recording engineer for 15 years. Back then, everythign just worked. Now the corporate weinies sending everything to China, where THEY figure out how to make EVERYTHING like a piece of poo poo. Normal, i.e. ASIAN XLR's are pure poo poo!!! I have to repleace every stinking Asian XLR with these frow Swirtchcraft!!! Only B & H carries them. If you NEED to rely upon quality... watch out for those pennie pinching Asian copies... they truly suck!! The censor made me use babay words... you get the idea.

As a professional recording engineer, I purchased this drive for audio/video projects, both as working memory and for archival storage. In this way, all components of a project can be stored in one location, under one folder title. Several projects can be stored on the same disk. Video files are too large for ordinary storage media, requiring up to 2 TB not counting renditions. Rather than reformatting disks for reuse, I treat them as consumables.

This is the second Hensel bag I've invested in, and I love them both. I'm a recording engineer, and use tall stands to record choirs and orchestras. Good padding to protect my stands, and good, secure zippers. It's hard to find one that fits your needs with the right height. I'm sure I'll put this bag to good, long use.

Excellent value! I'm just a hobbyist recording engineer so this is perfect. Heavy guage clean copper with quality connectors. I also use the stereo duals for patching mic preamps into the interface. The 5' length is perfect. I split it in half (adding connectors) making 2 dual patch cables. Highly recommended when you just can't buy top shelf.
