This product is really great for my everyday use. I'm a recording/mixing engineer I use pro tools 12.5 and this is great for my workflow. Whats great about this is that you can set the 4 buttons on this trackball to function how you want it to function. Not in just 1 application. You can have multiple applications set up the way you want it to work for you. Or you can have it do certain things for all applications. SWEET!!!! Theres is nothing bad about this. Well the only thing is and I see what some people are saying when I was researching this before I bought it is the scroll ring or wheel. It feels cheap like it might break on you but overall great product for my everyday use. And its great on your wrist and hand very very very comfortable with the included wrist rest. Buy this and you want go wrong. And thank you so much B&H.

Husband has worked as a singer-songwriter and studio engineer, and has been looking hard for two years for a portable mike to take on the road, or just for capturing early bits of songs wherever he likes. This great little device from Zoom looked like it might finally fit his standards/expectations. It has not disappointed!! It is very clear, and very detailed in its recording. Download the app and test it out; on raw recording in the living room, it beat garageband hands down. This device hasn't made it into the studio yet, but record/playback on iPhone 6+ was sharp and nuanced. Stays on while plugged into iOS device, so disconnect to save device battery. Husband is SUPER happy with it.

As a recording studio owner and engineer, I needed producers to be able to hear clear audio over long distance telephone land lines. I can now have voice over talent come in to record and the producer can be anywhere in the world. For $...it was well worth the investment. It will pay for itself in one voice over session!

This is my third pair of MDR headsets for use in a home recording studio, simply because they hold up in everyday use and are extremely reliable for mixing. Replacement ear pads are widely available from a number of vendors, and are easy to change. I use these along with a good set of reference speakers and they seem to match the frequency curve quite nicely. My brother, a retired LA radio announcer introduced me to these years ago and advised they are very widely used across the industry, in fact, preferred by many engineers and talent. The fact that Sony continues to make and sell them, speaks well for the product. The best part is you don't have to shell out several hundred to get quality and accuracy. I would easily recommend these to any content creator involved in monitoring or mixing. They are hard to beat.

As I am a sound engineer (mixing live sound at events) sound quality is is TOP priority. And SONOS have that proved 100%. Yes it might get expensive (depends on your needs) but it's worth it.

I was a recording engineer for 15 years. Back then, everythign just worked. Now the corporate weinies sending everything to China, where THEY figure out how to make EVERYTHING like a piece of poo poo. Normal, i.e. ASIAN XLR's are pure poo poo!!! I have to repleace every stinking Asian XLR with these frow Swirtchcraft!!! Only B & H carries them. If you NEED to rely upon quality... watch out for those pennie pinching Asian copies... they truly suck!! The censor made me use babay words... you get the idea.
