Art Supplies For Primary Schools

I use this camera as back-up for weddings, and primary for schools and sports leagues. I also shoot stills and video for our local fire department. The 18-135 lens has great range, and is very handy for both stills and video. I'm looking forward to using the extended (25,600) ISO for night time shots at fire scenes! The only downside for me as a working professional is the lack of ability to finetune focus by lens, which is a feature of the high-end models like the 7D and up. This is the fifth Canon digital I have purchased new since 2004, and I continue to be satisfied with quality and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this very cool bag to pack my art supplies when I go Plein Aire painting (outside), or go to another studio. It is large enough to hold my pochade box, tripod, brushes, paints, sketchbook, paper towels, water, gloves, bug spray and sunscreen. Not only that, it easily rolls everywhere, even when I'm off the beaten path. It is lightweight enough that I can roll it anywhere!

I use this to trim fine art supplies after printing. The edges are very clean and difficult to tell from the original edges. There are no problems with the heavier papers, I wish that I had this a few years ago.

Love the backpack. It is much more comfortable to wear than the previous backpack that I had. Carrying my laptop, and art supplies to school used to really hurt my back, and I can wear this bag for hours, and another plus is that it is simple and stylish. I wish that it was a little larger. In my old backpack I could fit a lot more things, but maybe I should have bought a bigger size. Overall, it is a wonderful bag.

I frame all of my own art and do some framing for other people using a Logan mat cutter. The Logan 5000 is a terrific accessory to my mat cutter, as it allows me to cut much deeper mats than the one originally included with the device. I purchase a lot of tools and supplies related to picture framing and B & H had the best price and fastest delivery of any of the retailers I normally purchase supplies from.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great back pack! I use it for carry art supplies to school, it’s tall enough to hold my long ruler and a lot of fabric. The pockets inside are fantastic and it’s comfortable to wear even when it’s filled and heavy. I’m 5’5” and this backpack doesn’t feel too large or clunky. I’m excited to use this for packing for my next weekend trip, it will easily fit my laptop and weekend of clothing. Highly recommend!

This paper is my primary paper for fine art nature photography. It is bright, incredibly crisp, and allows my imagery to 'POP'. The weight of the paper makes it easy to handle. The color saturation is excellent (I print on a Canon 9500 Mark II with canon pigments). The paper also holds incredibly crisp lines, nearly matching prints on white film, at nearly half the cost. The surface can be scratched easily, so care is required when matting and framing (as with most papers).

I use these for schools to connect their computers to their audio systems.
