We had researched solar eclipse glasses that were recommended as safe by the various astronomical associations and these LUNT glasses had the seal of approval. I ordered based on the Audubon Society reviews for entry level glasses and from B&H based on their fine reputation and past orders. I have to agree with their assessment that these appear to be a great value in this price range. These are bright and sharp. Getting used the focus ring a little but this is mostly because I had some cheap Bushnells with that toggle focus. I like that the eye-caps attach conveniently to the straps. I am slightly nearsighted but after adjusting the diopter it was right at neutral for a sharp image. Friends tried out my pair and are also ordering them. 5 |
