Before this awesome modem/router unit, we had a modem AND a router. With the AC1900, we’re saving money on the modem rent and electricity. The 4 ports are more than enough for our devices. Our ISP provides us with up to 200mbps of internet download speeds and with this modem/router, we sometimes even go above that speed. The internet would never crash or drop in speed unlike our old modem. The range of the signal is also much further and reaches throughout our entire apartment. If you are thinking of buying this modem/router, I highly recommend it. 5 |

Purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router as I was having constant problems with my current modem and separate wifi router. Was getting around 10 mbps upstairs and now am consistently getting over 100 mbps (comcast internet blast). Great range on the wifi with no extenders needed. Also solved issue with intermittent internet service and buffering while streaming. Very satisfied with this product. 5 |

The AC1900 runs smoothly with my twc, It doesn't loose or drop any internet signal. You'll still need to call them (twc) to activate and update it, no self activation yet for my area, not sure about other carriers. The wi-fi is great and I get full signal least 60 ft from the unit to the back of the garage across the yard. Make sure you download the Netgear Genie app, it's got all the useful infro and settings. 5 |
