This board is killer. I prefer it to the Z790 , a virtually identical board to the 690 but with a more IO options. Paired with the components listed below, I can do anything from Video editing to gaming , streaming and IT Administration. I have heard that Asus can be difficult when it comes to RMA and that they are working on improving thier work flows in that area and well, I have not had to test the validity of those claims since I have never had an Asus product fail on me in more than a 2 decades of Asus being my products of choice. Easy to install in a PCI_1 slot. Just plug in and download the drivers from ASUS. The included cable is to enable bluetooth. Has great range even through floors. 5 |

This is another quality product from ASUS. Easy install into an empty PCIe x1 slot on your motherboard. WiFi and Bluetooth software drivers included on a CD, or go to the ASUS website and download latest drivers. Be sure you have an empty USB 2.0 connector on your motherboard for the Bluetooth cable (see that black connector on the back of the adapter card?) The external antenna is VERY lightweight - best to anchor onto a surface with double-sided tape. 5 |
