Bought this display to accompany my ASUS laptop computer. Like the multiple connections and ease of operation so far. I eventually used the DVI port as this has solved a monitor dropout problem I was having when I engaged the usb audio out from laptop to a DAC. I also connected the laptop's audio output jack to the ProArt display so it too could have sound output if I choose. Now considering upgrading to an ASUS tower computer.

My old ASUS laptop died after serving me well for nearly five years with minimum downtime. I decided to build a desktop and selected this MB. Installation was a breeze, and all the relevant pins are in good locations for cable management.

I spent about 2 months reviewing and looking for laptops to replace what has become a poor purchase last year. The OLED screen and size are what sold me initially, but the specs on this laptop are what sealed the deal. Not only is the 15th gen Ultra 7 less than a few months old, but this small form factor comes from the factory with 32GB of RAM and 1TB or storage. Not having to upgrade immediately to save some money is a huge benefit, at least for me. At no point did this machine feel slow, or have any issues that I could tell from the 2 or so weeks I've had the machine. I'm happy with the build quality as with Asus, it can be a bit of a gamble sometimes, but they've seem to have stepped up their game and have found a sweet spot between affordability and decent build quality. Long term testing not withstanding as the machine is so new, I feel like I've made a good purchase and I won't be disappointed as I was with my previous laptop, which wasn't an Asus.

The Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 is a top-of-the-line gaming laptop that boasts both excellent performance and striking aesthetics. If you're looking for a gaming laptop that offers both style and substance, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 is a great option for a portable desktop replacement.
