Asus Crosshair Vi

My MB is a Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WI-FI) X570 (AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT) with dual PCIE 4.0 x4 slots populated with these bad boys. I use them as my gaming drives to get optimum load times. When I recently built this rig in late September, I used WD Blues to do the same thing. The loading times were easily a third to half what they had been Destiny loads, both before Beyond Light and after were awesome. Well worth the cost!

It is very expensive case but when you build your PC you will fall in love. Also if you have ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme AM4 E-ATX Gaming Motherboard you need to purchase raiser cable otherwise you can not use PCIEX16_1 port for graphic card installation. I think it is only compatible with STRIX MB's.

Half the cores but higher score! Need I say more? 5950x on Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero MB, 64 GB b-die RAM at 3600, 14-14-14-28. No games - just an image-crunching beast.

Can't go wrong with ASUS TUF motherboards. If you want bells and whistles go with Crosshair. If you want bulletproof, go thith TUF. I've had them get old and need replacement because technology has moved on, but never had one go out on me.

Perfect to mount a monitor on a M?VI

I like that Trijicon has added a standard crosshair Reticle. The scope is easy to adjust. I like that you can reset the zero on the adjustment dial. The non battery illumination is great, no hassle with forgetting ti change batteries. The weight is low so it is a great pair with my ultra light 308win rifle.

Running 5900x crosshair viii hero mobo with a 2060 super, dropped my GPU and CPU Temps at idle almost 20 C over thermaltake M20 case. Incredible value, great looking and well built case. Would highly recommend especially if temps are an issue for you.

I can easily level the camera 360 degrees by just leveling using the large crosshair. I can even readjust midway if something is off when shooting a panorama. The battery did show low, but when I put a new one in, it also shows low. I think it always show low on start up, then it turns green. It cost more than I wanted to spend but it was worth it to avoid all the frustration of center the air bubble I have been using.

The ROG Crosshair VIII Here (Wifi) is an excellent AM4 motherboard that delivers great power and speed when I combined it with a R9 5950X, 64GB of DDR4-3600, and Samsung 980 Pro NVME drives. I highly recommend the Wifi version as it includes both Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity; a must for most any user in today's world. I am very happy with this board as PC builder and user for 35+ years!
