Asus Desktop Computer Motherboard Model Z97 C

Asus has been a good motherboard for me for many computer builds

How can I establish a wired connection with my desktop to use Microphone as well as speakers both? I am using ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard and it has several connection options and that's confusing me a little bit. I read in some answers below it's recommended to use 3.5mm jack with 3 rings(aka TRSS or 4 pole cable). Does the cable on the PC end need to have a splitter, so that it can go in the line-in and mic-in ports of the motherboard(ASUS X99 deluxe)? If possible please provide a full description or the name of the cable. Thanks!

Asus motherboard is amazing. I am glad i chose asus.

This is my second asus motherboard my first was the cross hair model from 8 years ago and its still running. Reason for the upgrade was i built a new computer only for day trading. hopefully this build will last as long as the last one. In total all 3 of my builds have been based on the asus ATX boards never have i ever had a problem with freezing up or crashes. I strongly recommend asus products if you like building your own computers.The RGB lighting feature is a really cool added feature i can adjust the lighting feature to match my alienware 38 inch monitor

I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end. So I opted for the once again flagship product from Asus and my expectations are high!

I've come to trust the quality, performance and reliability of Asus products over the years. So, when I was looking for a motherboard to upgrade my computer to handle Windows 11, Asus was the logical choice for me. The Prime B550-Plus had all the features I needed to build a fast and responsive computer; from USB 3.2 Gen 2, ample Expansion PCI slots (5), 128GB DIMM Memory capacity to 7.1 Channel HD Audio. The BIOS user interface is well designed and easy to use in setting up your computer. The motherboard works seamlessly with my AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor I'm using. And lastly, the price is very reasonable for a motherboard with these many features and performance capability.

I had a premium motherboard and changed it with the ASUS. My game computer runs faster, quieter, cooler and solid. No need to mess with the bios, the software overclock works quite well. Voltage a bit high but hey how long do you really expect to keep a processor?

I bought this to replace a GL10CS-DB762 Desktop Tower, so far it runs amazingly well. I typically run Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator) along with 3 - 24 HP Monitors while simultaneously streaming YouTube videos, running Microsoft Outlook and multiple Excel Spreadsheets. I have not noticed any slow down in performance running all of these tasks at the same time. I did immediately add a 2nd 1tb SSD Drive ( Model #WDS100T2X0E). My only concern is that they did not provide the screw (neither ASUS nor the HD Manufacturer) to secure the SN850X to the motherboard, fortunately I had one in my computer parts drawer. Other than that, I'm loving the i9 Processor and 32b RAM (2x16gb chips). My last 3 work computers have all been ASUS ROG and I've had amazing success with each one of them. I would highly recommend buying from BH Photo Video, they shipped my computer the same day and it arrived in perfect condition.

This is my first Asus motherboard and so far it is performing perfect! I am really happy I went with Asus!
