I had a 6-year-old desktop with a regular (legacy) hard disk drive. The desktop was painfully slow when doing anything. After installing the SSD, the desktop instantly sprang to life. It's like a brand-new computer. If anyone has a slow computer, and it has a legacy hard disk, pop an SSD in and you will be amazed by the performance difference. 5 |

I purchased this adapter to help mount a Crucial SSD drive in my desktop computer. I have installed the drive but have not mounted it yet so I have not actually used this adapter.
