Asus External Monitor Driver

Works perfectly on Mac and and ASUS Chromebook. I use it for an external monitor on my Chromebook. I use the power pass through to charge the chromebook as well as the monitor interface. On the mMaqc to simply use it as USBA ports (Mac is USB C and Thunderbolt only). Works perfectly.

better design, faster internet. works with my OS. needs driver download from asus website.

Can't believe this 10G PCI card bringing such amazing speed to my old Asus MB, all I need is to install the Asus driver and restart. Works like a charm, best investment for win10 in years.

It works, however the driver on ASUS' website were causing my input devices to stutter and the adapter didn't seem to work that great either, downloading the drivers straight from Intel (Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200) solved all issues. Another thing to note, is the Bluetooth capabilities require a spare USB2.0 header on the motherboard, to where a cable from the card connects to. It was never mentioned anywhere, but aside from that, it works.

Hi - To begin with, I'm a fan of ASUS products. And I have recently completed a system build, in which most components were the newest types. The parts may have been 'too new' for the Microsoft installer, which gave trouble. - When I added this card to a system working with onboard video, Windows loaded drivers immediately. However I had the latest driver package from the nVidia web site at hand. The nVidia installer asked me to choose a driver top-up or a clean install. I recommend the clean install, which is easy and only requires one reboot. I am using the HDMI connection, and so far the graphics card has been flawless.

USB 3.0, included USB hub, external powering and complete flexibility for your ports to be in or out, what else could you want? And now they include rack mount ears in a clever arrangement. Finally the best part - make sure to install their custom driver and don't use the default Windows one. That way you get interface multi-client, meaning the driver does not get locked to one client (so you can run multiple applications off the interface at once). Otherwise avoid the MOTU interfaces. I had to junk a MIDI Express XT because their driver (from 2013!) refuses to let a Windows computer sleep. They verified the issue, but yet at the time of this review, many months later, they neglect to fix it. So I had to buy a new interface, but this one is better anyhow.

Did have a problem once with driver (but not related to secureboot - using secureboot from an external drive does not make sense to me). My issue was related to switching modes as well as interface (mirrored to independent as well as eSATA to USB ) BUT Startech support was truly awesome. Certainly one of the best I have encountered. I - like others - have been using the card for some time now.

Unit was easy to connect. No external power needed. Driver Download and Installation was also easy. Great operation. No need to install internal sound card for improved audio over internal OEM unit.
