Easy to use. Attached to PC running Windows 10 and was quickly detected and added to file system. Been adding 1800+ DVD/Blu-Ray movie collection to the drive and data transfer speed has been quite good. Have only had for a couple of weeks so can't say much about the longevity of the unit. I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |
