I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |

Bought this to back up my PC files and create a System Image Backup for Windows 10. It works flawlessly, which is all one wants from an external USB drive. I like the case design - it has small rubber feet on the back which enables it to sit securely on my PC (or a desk) without slipping or falling. 5 |

Remember when Win 10 was the last version of Windows? Yeah, me too. It's hard to find in both a physical media and with an install key. I'm not thrilled about the price but Bitlocker and being able to remote into a PC are things I use so it had to be the Pro version. Mainly I got this as most upgrades/OEM licenses tie you to a motherboard, it dies and so does your license. The retail version is supposed to allow you to migrate to new systems, so thinking a fe years ahead and long term use. 5 |

This replaces an older one (over 10 years), the old one still works but doesn't recognize Windows 10 Media Player. The new improvements make the new one much better than the old. 5 |
