Beyond happy with the Asus ZenWifi ET12. Great feature set and highly customizable within app or web interface. Much more control than I was used to with the Orbi Mesh system we replaced. Setup was a breeze and took minutes. Really appreciate that Asus includes network security for life that is not an additional expense. Coverage is great and the Mesh seamlessly hands devices off from one node to another. My iPhone 15 gets blazing speeds on the 6GHz band and I love the fact that those speeds only modestly decrease I increase my distance from the node and we flip to 5GHz. The app is fabulous and offers extensive information and network control. Very happy with this purchase. 5 |

ASUS once again rules the roost of my home network! I upgraded my older ASUS routers to the new ZenWiFi XT9 and could not be happier. Easy set up of the router and node, they connected well and my coverage is larger and my speeds are faster. Easy networking controls through the user friendly portal allow me to configure and optimize the network with easy. My family thinks I'm a tech genius, but it is ASUS who are the geniuses who make me look good! Our home is 4,200 square feet with a large outdoor area that requires coverage and the ZenWiFi XT9 does the trick easily. Highly recommend. 5 |

I purchased this to replace an older node on my ASUS AiMesh wireless network. Got the expected boost in speed and range. While the Quick Start directions are tailored towards this being your primary router, their App makes it super easy to do without needing these. These ASUS routers are really the nicest that I’ve used, and I’d definitely recommend. 5 |

I just upgraded my home network to this router (ASUS ZenWiFi ET8). My hope is for this to provide a stable platform with enough bandwidth to provide access points for a growing smart home, internet and streaming. So far so good. We are getting Gigabit speeds on the hardwired PC and close to gigabit on our phones. This is an improvement over the previous network mesh router we had, it seemed to be capped around 600MB. This is one of the only routers to support all the latest standards, so hopefully it will be good for a few years at least. Installation was easy as long as you have some basic understanding of networks. We gave the new router the same name and password as the previous one and all the smart home equipment moved to the new router with no problems. Right now, I believe this is the best home router you can buy. 5 |

After 10 years of excellent performance (still performing) from a ASUS RT-AC68U AC1900 Dual Band Gigabit WiFi Router, I decided to upgrade, after looking at the different Models (considering my use is a home network), I choose the RT-AX88U Pro AX6000 Dual Band WiFi 6 Router. The AX88U PRO has many new features and amazing speed enhancements not to mention a faster processor with 4 cores instead of 2, and the 2 core processor in the RT-AC68U was really fast in it's day. Setup was a breeze, just reset your modem, then turn on the router with your ethernet cables connected, and boom, setup screen shows up on your computer monitor and except for new ASUS Router Web/Remote access now being a web address instead of the IP address, and a minor change in the the new IP addresses from 192.168.1.100 to the new format 192.168.50.100. Setup was a breeze, Range is much better for WIFI, Web speed regarding loading pages and such, is much faster regarding Ethernet and WIFI, many more features and improvements to list............. Fantastic Router, Incredible Upgrade, ASUS does it again ! I choose this Router as it has the features and priceline I wanted, yes there arew even better ones to choose but they are much more expensive and rightfully so as they are primarily used for large networks with very large client and network demands, considering this is for a home network, it is perfect, has much better WIFI coverage, faster LAN performance and you will notice the difference across the board ! 5 |

I just upgraded to the XT9 from the Eero devices and it is like going from riding a bicycle to driving a sports car, the features, tools and capabilities are extensive. The setup is pain free and simple, similar to most wifi mesh systems you would buy today. After the initial setup is where you get the ability to fine tune your network. Asus has an excellent Web app called Asusrouter, that has an extensive set of features and parameters that you can use to customize your network to your specific requirements. I am currently running a Public IP network connected to my provider and it was very easy and straight-forward to set up after getting the Public P addresses. I worked with my provider to get their side set up and then configured my end. Works really well and the speed is exactly what I am paying for, the XT9 does NOT limit the speed or features of my service at all. The coverage that Asus promises is also realistic. I have the 2-device package that covers 5700 sq ft and it really provides that wide coverage. I have the node setup in my garage and the main router in my office and all 42 of my devices are connected with excellent signal strength on each device. It is nice to be able to connect everything and not worry about where in the house, yard or garage we go, we have excellent coverage. In summary, what I like most about the ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 AX7800, is the Web App that gives you the ability to customize your network to your specifications and the fact that it provides real time monitoring of the devices and has extensive logs. I am also very happy with the wide coverage area it provides and the strength of the signal. I had a lot of problems with signal strength before installing the Asus, and that is now resolved. I recommend this product. 5 |

Easily added this RT-AX57 onto an existing ASUS mesh network. This unit is located in a attached garage and easily handles personal devices and all my outdoor smart lights and outlets. 5 |

My 6th Asus router over about 15 years. I've had other brands, but I always come back to Asus and this time I'm not leaving. I am a veteran in the IT business, over 26 years, so I know routers and I can say that the key thing that separates Asus routers from all others is the firmware. Drawing from opensource community experts that have a passion for maximizing functionality, security, and performance while also adding Asus' exclusive features like AIMesh, Guest Network Pro, and kid's wifi for a novel approach to parental control. Oh, yeah, and superb network performance and advanced control if you need it. The Asus approach to online safety for children by creating a "network" exclusively for each child is genius! My son connects his devices to HIS OWN wifi network which is managed separately from his sister's wifi network... simply a genius approach to online safety and parental control for the multiple devices that children have these days. Plus it makes them feel special because they have their own wifi! Nearly every update from Asus has a feature enhancement or a new feature. These routers feel future proof. Every time I get a little board (because IT is my passion and I like new and shinny features to play with), Asus drops a new firmware with a new feature and my interest is renewed. Any company can make hardware, the hard part is the firmware and I have yet to use a router from another brand that even comes close to the Asus router firmware, both for feature set as well as performance. And the AIMesh....no other brand has anything close! 5 |

While replacing my old modem with an updated model I accidently set a shook through my old Asus Router that apparently toasted it. The only router I could get instore without ordering and having a two to three day wait was Netgear. Installed the competitor’s router that day, within twenty-four hours, my WI-FI network went down requiring a Technical service call. With the help of the Technician my Wi-Fi network was up and running again. However, every other day after that my network would go down, requiring a power-down and restart of the router. A week later I ordered the ASUS RT-AX3000 router, installed it and returned the competitor’s router. The ASUS router was easy to install, has been trouble free and works great. Even has the range to provide WI-FI signal to my pole barn where I previously only a signal using a WI-FI extender. I highly recommend the ASUS RT-AX3000 Router! 5 |
