I recently bought this to replace the aging HDD in my Asus G73JW notebook (almost 9 years old). This drive is just as amazing as you would think it should be. I went from booting WIN10 in roughtly 2-3 minutes to about 30s. Thirty three seconds to be exact, from power on to the WIN10 login screen. One minute after that all of my background apps are loaded.

It fits my 13.3' notebook perfectly. Great product quality, as most of Case Logic products are. It's not super thin, providing better protection.

I was used to use 1T SSD drives now since 2-3 years - and with lots of photos (especially when being on the road and processing is not possible) plus a small library of games 1T is getting to it's limit since a while. As such was waiting for a 2T SSD (mSata or ngff) since some time. However - except for announcements which reach back 2 years, there are none. So I bought a Dell XPS15 9550 which ships with an SSD and/or HDD. After buying the SATA adapter, the case and a smaller battery (nothing comes for free) - I have now 3T in my notebook and space problems are history! On top of that this drive promises to be able to have more write cycles than the cheaper drive which means that this solution should last at least another 3 years before a new notebook is required. So: - More space (3T in one notebook - if that isn't enough...) - Really fast! - Longer reliability - Upgrade turned out to be fairly easy (once all the components were there, but if the notebook would have been bought with a HDD it would have been much easier) = Yes, it is expensive, but for my use case it is fully worth it!
