Asus Oled 27 Gaming Monitor

I recently bought the ASUS TUF Gaming VG247Q1A, and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase! This monitor delivers an exceptional gaming experience at an unbeatable price. Here’s why I recommend this monitor for anyone who doesn't have thousands to spend on a monitor. 1. Stunning Visuals: The 23.8-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920x1080) provides crystal-clear visuals that make games look vibrant and immersive. The colors are rich, and the contrast is excellent, which really enhances the overall gaming experience. 2. Ultra-Smooth Gameplay: With a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, this monitor ensures that fast-paced games run buttery smooth. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in motion clarity and reduced input lag, which gives me a competitive edge in FPS games. 3. Adaptive-Sync Technology: The inclusion of Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync Premium) eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, ensuring seamless gameplay. Whether I’m playing on a high-end gaming rig or a console, the performance is consistently smooth. 4. Ergonomic Design: The monitor’s design is both sleek and functional. The adjustable stand allows me to find the perfect viewing angle, and the overall build quality feels robust and durable. The slim bezels also add a modern touch to my gaming setup. 5. Value for Money: Considering the features packed into this monitor, it’s a steal for its price. You get top-notch performance and reliability without breaking the bank. ASUS has really nailed the balance between quality and affordability with this model. Overall, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG247Q1A is a phenomenal choice for gamers looking for a high-performance monitor without the premium price tag. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good monitor without spending more money on it than a pc.

This monitor is really amazing. I had a moment of this is what color looks like?! at first, similar to when I got higher end speakers and said this is what music sounds like?!. I learned a lot about WOLED (current LG tvs) vs true RGB OLED (this panel) and how JOLED makes this specific display. Prior I had a 27 inch HP (S2721QS) and the main use is a workstation PC working from home and occasional light gaming. While the monitor is way overkill for my use (I don't do content creation or color correction), I love it and have no regrets even when considering the steep price point. That's just how it is right now given the manufacturing of this size OLED hardly exists. Sadly this is not as bright as my HP but blows it away in everything else. The viewing angles are crisp and improved and while I previously thought 27 inches was perfect for a workstation, I am now sold on the 31.5 inch size. I have enabled dark mode on every application and website that I can and the colors are just electric and amazing. The stand is ugly at the base but still nicely functional, I have the LG mounted on an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm and even though the LG is far below the weight minimum it works just fine. At first I was confused why the bezels are so large but I've realized it needs some form of casing and it benefits from the large casing when I grab the monitor and move/tilt it on the monitor arm. I could do without the USB hub integrated and my real only dislike of this monitor is the noise the settings menu navigator makes upon pressing. Yes OLED monitors will get less expensive but sadly it will take a lot more time, and by that time micro LED or QDOLED might be the successor. Again, the size, the pixel density, the experience using this in the evening, the HDR, it's all just gorgeous.

Love everything about this monitor. I was on a 27 1440p 270Hz IPS monitor for the past few years and finally decided to try OLED out. The colors and motion clarity are amazing.

Best 27 1440P OLED on the market hands down, gorilla glass gives it so much clarity while reduces glare and reflections a noticeable amount. Needed a firmware update because of issues with Fullscreen games upscaling to 4k 120hz and reducing refresh rate but other than that every other aspect of this monitor is perfect. Got mine used for 600$ because of some minor gaps in the back plastic behind the display, totally worth it. Significantly brighter than other monitors with the exact same LG panel, and the OSD works great with a lot of OLED care options. I would never EVER order directly or even pre-order from Dough/Eve, but Amazon/B&H ARE solid distributors. Threw it on a cheap 25$ monitor arm and I won't be upgrading unless Dough releases the rumored 4k 27 variant next year. Only real issue is the text clarity that comes with ALL 1440p OLEDs but disabling ClearType for Chrome only, solved my issues, passable text in chrome and on windows. Some people report sensitivity to PWM-controlled brightness and I thought I did too but I just had to reduce my whitepoint and that removed all fatigue.

I use the EIZO CG2700X for printing high resolution 13x19 inch deep sky, solar and planetary photos with a Canon Pro9000 MarkII printer. After using several different monitors in the last 20 years I have found the EIZO to be the easiest to setup, having the best written and video documentation for color management and most importantly the most accurate soft proofing from monitor screen to finished print. The built in color calibration tool is fast, easy to use and performs flawlessly. I am extremely pleased with the purchase.  Before purchasing the EIZO from B&H I had initially purchased the ASUS 31 inch OLED monitor from B&H a couple of weeks before. Long story short the ASUS monitor had a known hardware defect, according to a phone call placed to ASUS technical support. It was returned to B&H photo two weeks after purchase.   In reviewing the EIZO monitor I find that a comparison with the recently purchased ASUS monitor to be the most relevant. The LED OLED display on the ASUS monitor was definitely more eye popping than the EIZO LED monitor, which would be expected . That being said, everything else about the EIZO monitor- Color calibration, ease of setup, detailed documentation, and most importantly everything works right out of the box without any known hardware issues simply leaves the ASUS monitor in its dust in my opinion. The EIZO monitor is definitely designed for professional use in a photographic printing environment, while the ASUS monitor, once the hardware issues are fixed, is designed for looking at stunning images on the screen that can’t be duplicated on photographic paper. In fact the screen display of the ASUS monitor convinced me that my next television is definitely going to be OLED. And last but not least, thank you B&H photo for the fabulous customer service that I’ve received over the years on every single purchase.

This panel is in several different models from different manufacturers so really what you're buying is feature set surrounding the panel, and the support system go with it. Colors are beautiful out of the box and calibration is spot on. ASUS Supports an explicit 3 year burn in warranty, which is excellent. Gives me the ease of mind to use this monitor as a monitor, without feeling the need to have to baby it. (source: https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/asus-oled-premium-)care-protects-the-rog-swift-oled-pg32ucdm-against-burn-in/ I play in a dark room with a monitor light bar. For me the glossy-like coating is perfect and allows for deep inky blacks and sharp text. Lots of opinions out there about the best coating, this one being more on the glossy side. Asus support has been great, I just installed the update for Dolby Vision HDR and that has been working without a problem. The last differentiating factor for me when shopping was the KVM / USB-C output. I have a Macbook Pro of the M1 variety which typically doesn't play nice with HDMI at high refresh rates, so having a single cable out that contains my peripherals, with auto detect swapping, has been awesome. Other bells and whistles like monitor alignment / FPS gimmicky things (crosshairs etc) are all there and function. One feature I was really happy with was the proximity sensor. Wasn't even on my radar while shopping, but having the panel turn off when I walk away is a great idea.

The ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a phenomenal portable monitor which renders beautiful imagery with fantastic color accuracy. Perfect for when home or traveling, this monitor is lightweight and occupies very little space. Standard buttons on the monitor allow tuning various display settings. A handy shortcut button was also made available to switch between the pre-configured display presets or customizable to perform some other function. Connecting to the monitor was effortless using either of the two included cables, USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to MINI-HDMI. The bezel around the panel was minimal and unobtrusive. The colors are colorful and vibrant. Lightweight and portable. And for extended control and flexibility, the monitor is mountable on a small tripod. Overall, the ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a fantastic, utilitarian portable monitor offering many features in a small, compact design.

Had Asus PG27Q OLED for some time but aggressive matte finish really bothered me. Found out about Dough and their monitor recently. Since I used Apple Studio Display along my Asus before I was temped to Glossy Gorilla Glass finish. This monitor hit the spot by offering super deep blacks!

Took care of a weird screen issue I was having with my Asus PQ 27 G-Sync monitor. Periodic flickering with the OEM cable. This eliminated that.
