The optical performance of this lens is excellent. The mechanical features are solid and high quality. This lens upholds the high quality reputation of Tele Vue.

It's 2023. Photos can be perfect but cameras and lens cannot. That being said, I haven't encountered any mechanical or optical issues or complaints. You will be satisfied with this purchase If you want a fast aperture 85mm lens under 1k.

Good mechanical fit, excellent optical performance, and the antistatic coating works well to keep the dust at a minimum.

Use it on hikes, bird watching and travel. Its everything I need and more. Perfect balance of optical and mechanical quality, weight, and price. Probably the best bang for $ in its own class.
