Asus Port Replicator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just pugged it in and it worked. The new computers do not come with enough ports. This port replicator adds ports for every thing I needed to plug in and more.

Perfect to connect USB-A devices to my MacBook without needing a bulky port replicator or USB hub. I use this cable on the colorimeter for calibrating my monitor and it works great!

I have an ASUS WS WRX workstation which has USB4 ports (40Gbps). If you buy the new ProGrade USB4 CF Express reader this card is a speed demon. I was able to do a sustain read on the card at 1.8GB/s. I also have the older ProGrade USB3 Gen 2 card reader and on a USB3 Gen2 port the card transferred at 760MB/s. That is less than half the speed. So if you want max speed on transfer to your computer you need a USB4 port and a USB4 card reader

I use this product to connect an HP computer and two Asus VE208T monitors. These monitors have built-in speakers which have a 3.5mm port to access. So I used this splitter to split the audio signal from the 3.5mm port on the PC to both monitors. I am impressed with the results. The sound is good. I didn't quite expect perfection, but that would be due to the monitors. This device accomplishes its purpose.

Outstanding Quality you'd expect from Asus. A very well packaged PSU with all the cables you need including the new 3 port VGA GPU's. The cables are made from a very nice smooth finish that is very easy to route for cable management.

Most important!! If you have a 4k display like the Sharp or Asus make sure you buy a display port 1.2 to mini display port cable/ adapter in order to run 60hz Opening the box for the first time, I noticed how heavy it is, talking about around 12 Ib but its not about the weight of this thing but the size of it. I have to say this thing is a piece of engineering, how could Apple fit so much power under this small tin can!!. Funny that i got compliments around the place that this thing looks like a luxurious trash can hahaha yes it is a compliment, no one would understand what this thing really is!? Removing the plastic wrap covering the outer shell, showed how sext this thing is. Adding the glossy black finish makes this thing delicious hehe if you know what I mean, it is a prone to finger prints but to be honest I didn't notice any because of the dark black color. What is inside is pure art, the video card, RAM, SSD, everything is neatly placed for our viewing pleasure. The RAM is user upgradable very easily done indeed.

The cable worked just as I had hoped it would. I have an Asus Zenbook, that has only one USB-C port. So i needed this cable to connect my Zenbook to my external Plugable USB hub.

I plugged this into my ASUS motherboard USB3 port and it worked straight away.  Used several different disks including a 3TB Western Digital.  Works perfectly.  This replaces a competing brand vertical docking station that just stopped working. This units horizontal format with its lid is nice because it keeps out the dust from the connectors.  Cant beat the price either!!

The natural filament has the best print results by far. I set the makerbot 2 replicator to 224C and it prints perfectly.
