Asus Portable Monitor Not Displaying

We use this stand for photographing and displaying quilts. It is very portable, but sturdy enough for heavy quilts. 5 |

Awesome, great, trustworthy product, the only issue with the Asus portable monitor is 3 hour battery lifespan... 5 |

I needed a compact, simple, high-quality, secondary display to sit beside my main monitor. I very much wanted a portable monitor, but not to actually carry around with me, just not an ordinary display with the clutter of power cord/stand/etc. It will mostly be sitting in one place, but the nature of my work involves frequent changes to all the hardware connected to my system, so a degree of portability is great. What I also didn't really want was the usual origami case/cover/stand that comes with most portable monitors. I think they're great, but just not right for this particular usage. Before the Lenovo I tried an Asus Zenscreen, which was pretty awesome, but had a battery (great for true portable use!) but wouldn't power-up if the battery needed charging, which is a hassle I don't need. The Asus also had an HDMI input, which the Lenovo lacks, and also built-in speakers (if I recall correctly). Again, for true portable use, the speakers are almost a must-have, so for some people the Lenovo won't fit the bill. The lack of HDMI support is a little disappointing, for sure, but even though I would have made use of it, it also wasn't a deal breaker (for me). So, yes, if all you need is the display, and your computer/device supports video over USB-C, this is a great option. Minor gripe is the straight plug and length of the supplied USB-C cable. A right-angled plug and another foot or so of length would have been much better. I had to buy a separate cable, and (as I discovered the hard way!) not many USB-C cables support the alt mode of Displayport-over-USB, and the correct cable wasn't cheap! For me, in this particular scenario, this Lenovo is pretty much perfect. For some people it may be a little too basic, so for those people I'd say try the Asus. 5 |

The Asus ZenScreen MB16AC is a light, portable, easy to use monitor that has changed the way I work for the better. The screen is easy to use and does not require an additional power source. You connect it to your computer via a USB-C cord, download a driver and it is ready to go. I use a MacBook Pro and it works seamlessly. I love the monitor. Don't know how I have worked all these years without one. 5 |

This ASUS portable monitor works great. Easy to setup. Its a perfect solution for going between home & office where there isn't a dual monitor solution needed for looking at different documents and workbooks. 5 |

The ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a phenomenal portable monitor which renders beautiful imagery with fantastic color accuracy. Perfect for when home or traveling, this monitor is lightweight and occupies very little space. Standard buttons on the monitor allow tuning various display settings. A handy shortcut button was also made available to switch between the pre-configured display presets or customizable to perform some other function. Connecting to the monitor was effortless using either of the two included cables, USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to MINI-HDMI. The bezel around the panel was minimal and unobtrusive. The colors are colorful and vibrant. Lightweight and portable. And for extended control and flexibility, the monitor is mountable on a small tripod. Overall, the ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a fantastic, utilitarian portable monitor offering many features in a small, compact design. 5 |

I do a lot of fine art printing and needed a monitor that was capable of displaying 100% Adobe RGB. The monitor hardware self-calibrates to a variety of color spaces, and allows the luminance to be adjusted separately while maintaining the calibration. HP's elite workstation group handles the support for this monitor and they are a notch above! Add the white glove 3-year overnight swap out warranty for DreamColor monitors and I couldn't have asked for more!! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has been perfect for working from home and displaying the programs I use, the wide field allows me to have multiple windows displayed and still allows me to have them at a reasonable size to view them. The display is perfect definition wise and lightening . I’ve had it for about four months now and it’s definitely been worth the purchase 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a web-developer, and I'm using huge 42in monitor as my main one. And I need additional one for IDE (displaying code). I found vertical 28in 16:9 too small, and additional 42in 16:9 too big. For some time I was using two 22in FullHD monitors stacked on top of each other, and found that screen space perfect for me, but I hated having bezel between monitors. I was looking for 16:18 screen long before, and now, thanks to LG, it's actually available! Moreover, it has perfect size (height) to match my 42in monitor (see photo). Build-in mount arm makes it easier to install monitor as a second one, and not being afraid that it can fall while standing on the edge of the desk. Plus you can easily wipe desktop under it. I think this aspect ratio is perfect for coding and IDEs (I can split workspace into 4 sections (have 4 files open simultaneously), and have tall/huge work files tree to navigate. Screen quality is perfect, although I'm using mainly for displaying text. No dead pixels spotted. The main downside is price. I wish LG extend it's lineup of 16:18 monitors to have more simple ones. I'm not using USB-C connection for laptop, and probably 1920x2160 resolution will be more suitable for my tasks. But anyways, I do recommend this format for anyone who is looking to extend their workspace! 5 |
