This stand is exactly what I needed since I use a 17 inch Lenovo Y70 laptop and wanted a safe and secure way to tether it while shooting in the studio. From what I had discovered previously a lot of stands won't hold a laptop that large. This does and I like the non slip surface as well as the adjustable pins that can be snugged up so the laptop won't accidentally shift and fall. The mouse pad is a nice addition albeit it is a pretty small area so your mouse motions are limited. The tripod leg base is well made and locks in place with no slippage.

I love this bag. I'm a videographer and I pick up and travel pretty often. This fits my 17 inch laptop, notebook, make-up bag, ipad, planner, and several hard drives without it feeling too heavy. It's very spacious and sturdy. This is my first time trying out a Samsonite bookbag and I've received so many compliments.

- loads all my Canon lenses and body, and 17 inch laptop easily in one easy to roll bag. Built in combination lock. Fits in the overhead storage on the smaller 737 . Love it

Great bag for my 17 inch alienware laptop. Completely unfolds so you don't have to remove your laptop going through airport security, just unzip lay it down and zip it up and go when you get on the other side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually get used to good laptop specifications with long term usability at the expense of carrying some extra weight everyday. It was about time to update my 5-year old 15-inch laptop and was looking for PC with good computing power but with a bigger screen as sometimes I tend multitask a lot. I found this 17-inch LG laptop with the specifications I needed but was hesitant as I didn’t know how portable a 17- inch laptop would be. When I received it I realized this is way more portable than my previous machine. It is way lighter with a better screen. I immediately opened all the 15 tabs I am used to without any performance issues. Speakers are good but could be slight better. In general. I am pretty happy with my purchase. I was able to find a laptop with quite big screen and numeric keyboard without compromising on portability as the weight is perfect while traveling. Found this bag after Google search where someone suggested this bag would hold their Asus 18.4 inch laptop which is really 21 inches long. Although I know the bag is for music equipment, it makes a great double as a laptop bag and has excellent extra storage areas for power block, wireless mouse and assorted snacks -- Great Find!!!

I am learning to enjoy my ASUS 15.6 Vivobook. It is a replacement for my nearly 14 year old laptop that has seen better days. I am on a limited budget, but I didn't want mediocre specs that would be outdated in 6 months. I do mainly internet browsing, some productivity work (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), some low intensity gaming, and on occasion some video editing for my socials. Bottom line - You should probably get one while qtys and pricing are good. Pros - It has the specs I wanted (i9 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) at a great price. More than enough computing power for gaming, casual internet browsing, and the occasional homework/essay. It included FREE 2-Day Shipping - I am on the West Coast. Screen colors are vibrant, keyboard is keyboard-y with backlit keys. The laptop itself is not the lightest out there, but is hardly the boat anchor ROG ASUS I still own that is on its last legs. It's offered thru a reputable dealer. Cons (ish) - Only 1920x1080 resolution and no touchscreen. I haven't really encountered any other negatives so far. It's been a while since I purchased MY own laptop. To be transparent, I have helped recommend and even purchased several laptops over the years for my family and friends. My previous-current laptop is a still-running ASUS G51J (i7 CPU 1st Gen, 6GB RAM, 500GB 2.5 HDD) - battery doesn't charge, but still works plugged in. I purchased it from B&H also circa 2010. Being a frugal tinkerer myself, but wanting the best value for my budget, I researched and compared several buying sources including big box stores, national (U.S.) retail chains and even Amazon, but I still chose B&H. Even though I am on the West Coast, I still found value in the products they offer as well as the service and buying experience. Did I mention FREE 2-Day shipping from the East Coast (NY). Hope this review helps.

Just got this the other day. Have been waiting months for this! Works with my Asus gaming laptop, going thunderbolt to firewire adapter to my Presonus Firestudio.

The case it's self is made just like any other Pelican. The padding is awesome and the space is more than enough for me to use with my laptop. I have a large ASUS 15.6 gaming laptop and it is enough to fit the computer, mouse and charger without it wiggling around. I also use this for my transporting my pistol sense I didn't cut up the block of foam for the ASUS. On the downside the Tan color is a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be, which is a very minor complaint.
