I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end. So I opted for the once again flagship product from Asus and my expectations are high! 5 |

The ROG Strix Z790-E is an outstanding motherboard! I installed an i9-13900K and 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, along with an ASUS TUF-Gaming RTX 4090 OC, and two Samsung 990 Pro NVME drives. Have enjoyed my new Asus Rog Strix Z790-E WiFi motherboard. It has all of the features that I could ever need and found it on sale, so that makes the purchase even better. RGB features are very pleasing. Storage capacity for SSD's is more than enough than anyone could ever need. Installation went very smoothly. Flash Bios feature worked great to update to latest Bios version. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. 5 |

My MB is a Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WI-FI) X570 (AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT) with dual PCIE 4.0 x4 slots populated with these bad boys. I use them as my gaming drives to get optimum load times. When I recently built this rig in late September, I used WD Blues to do the same thing. The loading times were easily a third to half what they had been Destiny loads, both before Beyond Light and after were awesome. Well worth the cost! 5 |
