Asus Router Ethernet Cable Not Connected

Have had It for a week. Installed like a breeze, runs like a breeze. Connected to router via Ethernet cable. All laptops connect through wireless with no issues, same for AirPrint. Installation was easier and simpler than I expected. Tray holds 250 sheets and that is enough for my needs. Have printed some 150 sheets so far with the starter cartridge and it’s holding good. The cost of replacements seems reasonable too, compared to the competition.

Connected to Comcast Xfinity Installation went Smooth and connected to a ASUS AC1900 Router is a great combination of range and speed. Glad I picked this Modem.

Connected to an Ethernet switcher.

This TP-Link ER7206 router was purchased to replace an ancient D-Link DGL-4100 router that still worked but which no longer maintained full throughput and which didn't support IPv6. Both of these routers have built-in 4-port Ethernet switches. When it comes to Ethernet routers, my needs are quite simple and the ER7206 meets those needs perfectly. So far it seems to be performing flawlessly. The router is being fed by a cable modem (550 Mbps downstream and 22 Mbps upstream) and has a computer, color laser printer, smart TV, and Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) connected to it. The AP has a built-in 4-port switch to which a Blu-ray Disc player is connected. The router was directly connected to a computer for setup purposes and the process was straightforward. I did update the firmware, which is always a good idea since some fixes may be security related. If your needs are as simplistic as mine, then I highly recommend that you consider this product.

Purchased to replace a 9 year old Asus router. The old one was reliable and still working, but wanted a stronger WiFi 6 router for the increasing number of connected devices in my home. Nicely packaged, setup was a breeze, and I like the app that shows what devices are connected to my network. So far it is has been a nice upgrade and covers my 3000 sq ft house. Hope it will be as dependable and long-lasting as my previous one.

I was worried that it would be difficult to configure, but one single ethernet cable connected to a POE injector and they have power and provide a pristine image to Vimeo's Livestream Studio. It took seconds to go from no signal to live streaming. And learning to set presents and recall presents is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Literally. Push preset, Push a number, and then Push enter. These are well worth the investment.

The Coupler works great. I had a short ethernet line coming out of the wall and needed to entend the connection to my Mac. I connected the coupler to the ethernet cable, connected my other cable to the coupler and voila, signal to my Mac.

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. It definitely increased the Wi-Fi speed over my previous Unify setup, pretty much double it. I can get on an iPhone Internet speeds of 500Mb/sec if close by and 200-300Mb at a greater distance. There is no 2G/5G separate connections, the router is smart enough to figure out which connection is the best. The installation was easy after I've figured out how it works. First and foremost, DO NOT attach an ethernet cable. It'll stop the setup. Bring the AP relatively close to the main router, run the phone app to set it up. It takes a rather long time (~3 to 5min) to do all its setup. After the setup is done, you can move it to another location and connect an ethernet cable. It'll figure out by itself that the cable is plugged-in. Highly recommended product.

my home office was at far end of the house from the cable router - no issues now. Love the extra ethernet ports on the satellite.
