Asus Supreme Gaming Experience Monitor 4K

I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it.

Im using this RAM with a low-end budget gaming build: AMD Ryzen 3 2200g, Asus Prime B350M-A, 128GB PNY SSD, 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM HDD Ive never have had the experience of having more than 4GB of ram in my pc, and I hope that this RAM will perform well in the future, and I might buy this again if an upgrade is needed. Im also looking ahead to overclocking the RAM so that it will work better with the CPU, and so that my gaming experience will be better than before.

This monitor is nothing short of absolutly perfect in my opinion and I have been gaming on just about every single monitor known to man....ok...there may be 1 or 2 I haven't feasted my eyes upon but hey that should tell you how perfect this thing is... and not just for gaming...the movie experience is just as good...its hard to believe how far they have come...its almost like your in another demension.... I have had the monitor for about two weeks now. Shipping time was great - only took one day to arrive on the east coast. Like all Asus products, the monitor is packaged very well and it is easy to assemble. No dead pixels, the monitor has thin bezels. I mostly use this monitor for gaming and it is great for fast paced FPS games like Apex and COD. I was able to overclock to 165 Hz with no issues. Coming from an Asus 25 2k 60 Hz monitor this is a big upgrade for gaming. It would have been nice to have a USB 3.0 port in the I/O, but I understand Asus usually reserves those premium features for their ROG brand. The TUF Gaming series is a great middle ground for those that want value and performance without spending an arm and a leg on a ROG monitor. Highly recommend especially if you can get it on sale.
