Asus Vivobook 15

The ASUS 15.6 Vivobook S 15 Laptop is well made. I love how compact and light weight it is for traveling. Everything with it is working great so far. No complaints.

I bought 2 of these and they work perfectly with an Asus vivobook, Macbook pro 13" (2016), Galaxy S8 and an adapter. They are thick (in a solid way), feel well made and work perfectly

Bought this drive to replace a 10 year old Asus dvd-rw drive. I am in the process of backing up my CD collection, and the old drive wasn't happy after a few solid days of ripping. Once I installed this drive, I was ripping 5x faster! Approx. 5-15 minutes per CD, and with NO errors. It does slow down a little after about 5 consecutive rips, which puts it in the 10-15 min. Range. Have not tested bluray or dvd functions so I can't comment on those capabilities.

I started working with Asus motherboards 15 years ago, and I feel they were best on market then and now. The ease of install and clearly marked ports and jumper blocks make for a strong build and the first time run up anyone can work with. Truly a plug and play mb with the capability to respond to better versed builders. The Asus optimized setting in the bios really takes the work out of setting up your new hardware. This board is killer. I prefer it to the Z790 , a virtually identical board to the 690 but with a more IO options. Paired with the components listed below, I can do anything from Video editing to gaming , streaming and IT Administration. I have heard that Asus can be difficult when it comes to RMA and that they are working on improving thier work flows in that area and well, I have not had to test the validity of those claims since I have never had an Asus product fail on me in more than a 2 decades of Asus being my products of choice.
