Asus Windows 7 Sff Computer

I purchased this to use as the second drive in a SFF computer. It showed up immediately in windows and I was able to format and start using it without any issues.

..first 24 hours..used only 7%..couldn't ask for anything better...

SFF computer from many brands only come with a single SATA power connector and this allows using the one SATA power for 2 HDD/SSD. Easy to use and the hot-swap insert and removal functions as expected.

Installed this in an OptiPlex 7710 SFF computer in the X4 slot. The Win11 operating system detected it and it showed up in the Device Manager as expected.

Asus has been a good motherboard for me for many computer builds

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

7 frames/second with 18b battery. Lightweight. No cons so far.

I bought this to replace an ASUS, which had multiple screens, and which was troublesome from the getgo. This computer is very user-friendly. I'm surprised at how much I like Windows 11, and the transfer from the Windows 10 ASUS was much easier than I expected. In fact, the only thing I don't like about this ACER is the 16x10 display. I typically use a 43 external screen for display, and wind up with black screen on both edges. Otherwise, the laptop display is gorgeous, the touch screen is just sensitive enough, the keyboard has a really nice feel and layout, it's quite fast, the touchpad is sized right, and it's pretty light.

Using an Asus ux501vw laptop, Windows 10, latest drivers and firmware. Works great! Write speed (Raid 0) 350MB/sec. Moved 1TB without any problems.

Replaced Optiarc AD-7240S which did not work with Windows 10. ASUS DRW-24B1ST was a good choice for replacement.
