Asus Wireless 11N 300Mbps Adsl Modem Router

Upgraded my cable providers Modem and router to the Orbi and made improvements to coverage and speeds. I was getting less than 300mbps with the old modem and would need to reset it often to maintain speed. Now I get between 325 to 370mbps on my 300mbps plan. It was easy to hook up. I did need to use customer support I couldn’t finish the set up connection error. After the usual troubleshooting they asked me to plug it into a different outlet and it was able to complete setup. I had it on an old power strip plugging it direct to the wall. The app makes it easy to monitor your network.

Comcast X-Finity recently suggested that we upgrade our modem. We decided to also upgrade our router, and chose the ASUS RT-AX82U. We have been very pleased since making the changes. We have a smart television outside in a covered porch area. We needed a separate extender on our old router to get service, and it was still spotty. We have had no problems getting a satisfactory connection using this new router without an extender.

I have been working on my home network recently and I've added this router directly after the modem. It is so packed with features that I regret purchasing the system that I purchased a few years ago that cost more than the Asus. The ability to run a VPN on the router is great. And it's easy to add additional Asus routers as a mesh system. It does the all the setup with a few clicks with no manual settings required.

The j5create JUE301 Wireless 11n USB Mini Adapter is great. It picks up a moderate signal and is easy to install. Once I installed the driver on all of my computers (mostly legacy) I am able to hot swap the adapter when needed. Highly recommended.

Great modem, works excellent for 300Mbps internet line. Tried upgrading to 500 Mbps and Cox told me that this modem will only do 300 on their line. Let this serve as a warning to buyers that even though this is rated for 1.4Gbps Cox cannot put more than 300 Mbps through this modem.

I got this modem to go with my fancy new gaming wireless router because I needed faster and better. It does the trick. Glad I got it!

This is been by far the best router period, and I just dont mean due to the speed. the options & security features this thing has had me shakin my head for 30 minutes at least.. talk about fully customizable, WOW. I did 4 hrs of in-depth research into this router and the most common issue was the AiMesh system. seems many just couldn't get to resolved correctly. I on the other hand along with my son simply plugged it in and did NOT to any firmware updates, got into the settings to configure to our network and my speed just lit up. I have giga blast thru cox, but my older asus router we thought might be holding us back since the modem was received 1 gig downloads, but the router was only allowing 430 Mps and out wireless was a bit worse. Werll I wanted the speed that I was paying for. Granted this is a very pricey router BUT. once connected not only did our speed match that of the modem, but we gained the 6Ghz band. all my son downloaded was 1 small file having to do with windows 11 and that gave us 700Mps wireless thru 5Ghz band and a tad less thru 2.4Ghz band. our range grew by id say 30 feet in all directions with a full 5 bars. man how nice it is to have those speeds. I think people arent sure about their own talents when it comes to AiMesh, I could be very wrong. but at least for us. it was up and running in 15 minutes and we now see 970Mps+ consistently. so all in all it was worth the extra chunk of money..

Use this on optimum and it is extremely fast over wireless and the perfect all in one Modem/Router combo.

Hello Asus. This wireless router is excellent. Easy to setup and works great. This is my 3rd Asus wireless router and when it's time for a new one down the line I will purchase another Asus product.

This is my first ASUS router. I wish I had started with it! I had always used TP-Link. I started with a refurbished TP-Link-AX11000 (2.4GHz dropped out at random). Returned that and bought a NEW TP-Link AX10000. Experienced the same exact problem. Long story. The ASUS GT-AX11000 will not disappoint. I've had it for 6 weeks without a single issue. Super easy to setup. Love the ability to add custom pictures for the clients. Top notch equipment. My computer's MB is an ASUS, so no big surprise. Like I said...I wish I had started with it! My network has wired computers, wired TV\firesticks, wireless smart switches, and wireless camera. My camera frame rate is maxed out now without loss of quality. Thank You ASUS!
