These are actually the best active studio monitors objectively speaking. The best on the face of the planet revolving around the sun 5 |

I have this as the sound processor for my kitchen system of JBL subwoofer and 2 JBL active monitors. I use it regularly and have had zero issues with its operation since putting it in service April 2017, now September 2022. This is not a critical listening area but it gets a lot of use. I detect no added noise. All controls work like new. I also have an older 215s and it too works just fine after years of service. 5 |

I replaced my active monitors with the ELAC speakers and a Yamaha integrated amplifier. Since the ELAC has coaxial arrangement of tweeter + midrange, I felt it would work fine for near field listening. I'm very happy with the result. With nothing playing, the combination of amp with passive speakers has no background hiss. My old monitors had audible hiss and non-defeatable auto-shutoff unless the playback was kept sufficiently loud. I'm using an RME ADI-2 DAC feeding the Yamaha amp. I chose ELAC's Satin White with Oak Sides to escape the all-black look of my old monitors. 5 |

I use this to control my active mixing monitors and it does what it's supposed to. No noise, a comfortable volume knob, the option of mono or mute, it fits right in. Good quality construction as far as I can tell, so if you need a passive control, this one is worth the money. 5 |

I gave 5 stars for decent quality and price. I am using Alesis M1 Active Mk 2 monitors with it, so far so good. 5 |

I love the Swaro ATC 17-40x56mm scope for bird watching. It has several advantages compared to my large scope the Swaro ATX 25-60x85mm. First, the ATC zoom magnification starts at 17X. This means you get a very wide field-of-view making it much easier to get on a bird quickly. For instance, if you are watching loons or grebes and they are constantly diving, you have to get on target very quickly before the bird dives again. I can get on target faster with the ATC than my big scope with higher starting magnification and much narrower field of view. Second, I rarely use the highest power magnification in my big scope due to heat waves and the very slight decline in clarity, combined with the common problem of wind and image shake. So 40X magnification from the ATC is adequate for most of my birding. Third, the ATC let's in plenty of light and the image quality is outstanding. The clarity and color and image vibrancy is as good or better compared to my larger ATX scope. Fourth, the scope is very light making it easy to carry on my shoulder with the Swaro Compact Carbon tripod. Also, since the tripod is so much heavier than the scope, there is very little image shake in mild wind. In summary, the ATC 17-40x56 is now my go-to scope that I use all the time. I love it. I still find it hard to believe that such a high performance scope can be so small. 5 |

I already was using some of these for monitors in my studio, but I find them really useful for miscellaneous use such as a table for a laptop. 5 |
