This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc.

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

Pro photographer in Atlanta...used the 2.8 24-70 until a recent trip to Rome where the intention was to use only one lens (landscapes, building, museums, artwork, etc.) with all the walking..70mm is slightly too short, so bought and used the 24-105. Worked perfectly. No low light problems. Results comparable to the 2.8. Very flexible. I'm pleased and w probably replace the 24-70 with the new one as the walk around lens in the future.

Yeah, its a little bulky, but I got used to it fast. I keep it on the 7II as a walk-around lens now. I don't use the f/1.2 aperture all the time - but, believe me, no matter what opening I'm dialed in at, the resulting files are ridiculously sharp. Lenses are tools, and normally I'm not that ga-ga over a tool that does what it's supposed to do. But this lens has become a critical piece of my kit and I wouldn't part with it no matter what. People who love to bounce the term bokeh around should be more than satisfied with this piece of gear. It's razor sharp with the creamiest of backgrounds!

I've been using the Nest Hello since it's GA. With full 1080p resolution and virtually no lag, it's the best one money can buy today. Video quality and notification are the two most important things of a video doorbell and Nest delivers well in both areas. It convinced me so much so that I'm thinking to replace my Arlo pro cams with wired Nest line of products.

Luckily I don't need much in the way of insulated gear here in GA and SC, but it does get cold early in the morning, and these are perfect. The nonslip palm material grips the camera making it very comfortable, no worries of the camera sliding out of your hands. The pull down finger and thumb sections being held back by small magnets is a huge advancement over the old velcro (I still have some of these packed away). Overall, the quality and price made these a no brainer. I may order another pair to just keep in my car.
